2001!!!!!

I cant believe the Dolphins havent been in the playoffs since 2001. I cant believe its been 5 years (and soon to be 6 years) since Ive felt the excitement and anticipation of a Dolphin playoff game (and what a stinker their last playoff game was against the Ravens). I cant believe its gonna be another year of watching the excitement of all these teams battling for playoff positioning and the excitement of wild card weekend without the Dolphins involved in any of it.
I became a Dolphin fan in the early 90s, and nothing got me more excited as a sports fan than the Fish playing meaningful games in December and January. I think it was Christmas night 1994 when they beat the Lions at home to clinch the division, I remember to listening to that game on our way home from my aunt's house and being so pumped up. Now we're stuck with a meaningless Christmas night game against our biggest rival in a game that means everything to them and nothing to us. What a joke, 6 years and zero playoff appearances is UNACCEPTABLE for a a team that has the history the Dolphins have and in a league with such parity from year to year.

Havent we been patient enough...we consistently put one of the best defenses on the field every year, and we cant get it done. We couldnt get dan a defense, yet we get one of the best, and cant score points. I dont think its the points on offense that hurts us....its the damn turnovers. NOt just turnovers, but turnovers in in opportune times....every damn game that we lose, that happens. IM TIRED OF LOSING!!!!

go look at how many more wins we have as a franchise over the rest of the league...we've only had ONE, yes ONE, losing season in the passed 20some years...im sorry, but you dont know what it means to lose year in and year out, go talk to a cardinals fan. Wait, go FIND a cardinals fan, and then talk to him.

We're on the verge of having 2 losing seasons in 3 years, we've wasted good defenses for too long - I live in Cincinnati, I know what it's like to see losing teams, I pray we don't go the way of the Bungles.

I grew up in St. Louis when the Cardinals were still there, and trust me there is far greater pain rooting for them than we suffer as Fin Fans. They have the league's worst owner: Bill Bidwell, and his ownership is bottom line why they suck year in and year out. Just like having Millen running the Lions, guarranteed failure year after year!

So be VERy glad you're a Fin Fan, things definitely could be worse! At least we have HOPE!

Hell with the five years since a playoff appearance...the 30+ years since we last won a Super Bowl is what`s killing me! Settling for anything less is what is unacceptable.
 
We've been a average to below average team for 5 years,thats why we haven't seen the playoffs.
