A look back at the woeful 1st round, maybe it's good the Dolphins didn't have a pick until the 3rd round. Busts are in bold

David Carr QB Fresno State Houston Texans
Julius Peppers DE North Carolina Carolina Panthers
Joey Harrington QB Oregon Detroit Lions
Mike Williams T Texas Buffalo Bills
Quentin Jammer DB Texas San Diego Chargers
Ryan Sims DT North Carolina Kansas City Chiefs

Bryant McKinnie T Miami (Fla.) Minnesota Vikings
Roy Williams FS Oklahoma Dallas Cowboys
John Henderson DT Tennessee Jacksonville Jaguars
Levi Jones T Arizona State Cincinnati Bengals
Dwight Freeney DE Syracuse Indianapolis Colts
Wendell Bryant DT Wisconsin Arizona Cardinals
Donte' Stallworth WR Tennessee New Orleans Saints

Jeremy Shockey TE Miami (Fla.) New York Giants
Albert Haynesworth DT Tennessee Tennessee Titans
William Green RB Boston College Cleveland Browns
Phillip Buchanon CB Miami (Fla.) Oakland Raiders
T.J. Duckett RB Michigan State Atlanta Falcons
Ashley Lelie WR Hawaii Denver Broncos

Javon Walker WR Florida State Green Bay Packers
Daniel Graham TE Colorado New England Patriots
Bryan Thomas DE Alabama-Birmingham New York Jets

Napoleon Harris MLB Northwestern Oakland Raiders
Ed Reed SS Miami (Fla.) Baltimore Ravens
Charles Grant DE Georgia New Orleans Saints
Lito Sheppard CB Florida Philadelphia Eagles
Mike Rumph DB Miami (Fla.) San Francisco 49ers
Jerramy Stevens TE Washington Seattle Seahawks

Marc Colombo T Boston College Chicago Bears
Kendall Simmons G Auburn Pittsburgh Steelers
Robert Thomas OLB UCLA St. Louis Rams
Patrick Ramsey QB Tulane Washington Redskins

A lot of the rest are questionable too. I'd say the only ones that have outplayed their pick are Freeney, Haynesworth, Reed, and Sheppard.

alot of your so called busts are not busts

and you would probably jump up and down if the dolphins picked up jammer or buchanon

Mike Williams was a huge bust, probably biggest bust that year and Jammer is not a bust.
