2005 Dolphins Over or Under Achieving?

Ok I think we all had differnt expectations for this season and I want to know how the team is doing in your opinion

I predicted an 8-8 season so we are right about where I though we would be, or at least close.

GREAT idea for a thread.

I said better than I expected, HOWEVER, after seeing how this team CAN play (See Carolina game, Denver game etc.), its disappointing when I look at a loss to a team like the Jets or the Browns. Those really came back to hurt us.

There doing as I expected except I thought we would have a better division record. A lot of the games I thought we were going to win we lost( NYJ, Bills, Browns) and the games I thought we would lose to most likely were (Denver and Carolina) we won.

remember the jets still had pennington when we played them, he is a solid QB, and it was only our secondarys second game playing together, I thought we should have beat the jets also, but we should win this time around

They are right where I thought that they would be. If Saban goes 8-8 he made a huge improvement. Anything under a playoff spot is subpar in my book though.

i would be lying if i said Right where I thought we would be, the olny reason was when we beat the Broncos and Panthers i expect us to do great, but they are not under achieving, theire right where they should be but i expected after those games them to do alot better

I was actually thinking that this team could end up 10-6 (I know I'm probably one of the few that thought that, but my thinking is not purely homeristic). I knew this team would beat teams they weren't supposed to, but I forgot to factor in losses to teams that we should beat. So with my expectations they are slightly underachieving, but they still have a chance to go 9-7.

My question for all the people who say we are underachieving is

what did you expect a team that was 4-12 last year to do? realisticly I mean

I had high hopes but I knew it wouldnt be a 1 year turn around

I honestly expected more because we do have the talent to be better than we are right now... I was convinced when we opened the season at 2-1 with Denver and Carolina being the wins...
