pretty fair in my view, I am surprised at the Cincy over Pittsburg selection and I think we will get more than five, but a darned good job overall.

I had Miami at 7-9 before the preseason, but I just think their QB situation is completely f*cked. Although most won't believe me, I'm honestly not trying to incite smack with my dolphins prediction. Fact is, they play in the toughest division in football, and have to play the 2 hardest divisions outside of them this year. They have no apparent answer for the QB spot, and their defense is going to be in for a rough year. Without the 2 bigs in the middle the run defense is gonna take a hit, and the secondary is young and unexperienced(outside of Madison). Also, Thomas is getting older and his play usually declines late in the year. All this is not intended as smack, it's just my assesment(sp?)

Not a bad assesment either

Yeah.

Um, just asking. Give me your true opinion. If Sage Rosenfels were the starter, what would be your prediction for the 'Phins?

what about yours?

thats not a bad prediction, we wont go 5-11. it will be more like 7-9the steelers wont be 8-8 either, but its a good overall prediction

Chief's best record in the league? Their D-line is mediocre. The secondary has been hurt/trouble with the law. Their LB core features a rookie and an injury prone LB. Surtan can only do so much, and he hasn't looked that impressive as with the Phins. Its an open door policy with their 2nd corner. I think they go 9-7.

I liked the drive against Tampa where Ricky was running all over their D and gus was throwing the safe passes all the way to the endzone. He has shown some willingness to air it deep and keep the safeties out of ricky's pockets from the snap. I know the defense can cause turnovers and get sacks so i think we have an 8-8 team that can lose the close ones and produce a 5-11 team, or one the wins a couple of close ones and can go 10-6. We are still a running team and have the horses to get it done. Anyone notice how well our first team Def has done? We will be fine. I am not a big Gus fan, but I htink he will shorten those deep throws and let the wideouts run under them for at least some pass interference calls if not long completions. i know I am as optimistic as they come, but thats why we wwatch football and root for the phins. Every year could be our year.

On a side note, I hope Surtain struugles and is back here next year in aqua and orange back to his old tricks again.

Miami ahead of Bills...

How does a Rookie Losman Make you feel better over a Vet QB like Gus?
Just wondering...I have Bills at 5-11...Fins at 7-9.

overrated teams Cinn, jets, bills, raiders, KC, Jax, Baltimore

I am not sure why, but Denver, Pittsburgh, and the Patriots are still very talented teams. I see them slipping alot on on most peoples posts.

I think even if Freotte plays decent, mediocre even we have a legit shot at going 7-9 to about 9-7. We have the O-line playing twice as well as last years, twenty times more talent in the backfield, and a defense that can stuff the run with Traylor and Carter in the middle(about 750 lbs of man in the middle of the D). And Chester will come back to the team near week 6 to help if we need it there. I do know the deep pass won't be such a threat with two athletes like Schulters and Bell at Safety. We aren't as bad as we're made out to be.

Good Post....Let people think we are going to be ^%$#@ and then we clobber them!
