Here we go again, I just read a Thread saying we were a 7-9 team tops.

Look at the scores and you will remember the games.... The truth is that we played well, but we had such stupid mistakes, penalties, fumbles not to mention that our Offense really sucked...

I don't think we are a 7-9 team....

PS Mangini is not a genious, hes a jerk who happaed to get lucky on his first year (Saban type)

Do you guys remembre the game against the Texans.... It was awful and boring and ......... man I dont have the words

Ohhhhh Green Bay, Finally we got to score.... and we got beaten by Favre and a WR...

The Titans..... Jesus scoring 10 points when we could have scored 27....

We could have won maybe 2-3 more games, but we didn't. So were are a 6-10 team.
I don't think it matters what could have been. We could have won Super Bowl 17 if Theismann hadn't knocked that tipped pass out of Bokamper's hands. But but but, if if if.
We lost.
We are what we are.

thats what it is and besides it wasnt all bad jt got defensive player of the year and we all saw what kind of man saban was i also look as getting culppeper as a good thing call me crazy:goof:

Yea those first four games were a disgrace. The offense was incapable of scoring vs a non prevent defense. Id rather have to sleep in a cow field with no blanket or pillow every saturday night than have to watch Culpepper play QB for us again.

2006 was a good year, saved us from having to go another year with the coach with no name.

2006 will always be a year to forget.

1. Culpepper over Brees.
2. Ricky getting suspended again.
3. Our whole draft class not producing
4. Culpepper still not being healthy.
5. Joey Harrington
6. Saban Quits

Everything that could have possibley went wrong did. I've said it before and i will say it again, I knew that the Brees/Culpepper descision could either send us to the top or send us to the bottom. Hopefully Culpepper can come back but he's still not going to be better than Brees. Just my opinion though.

Hindsight is 20/20

Culpepper over Brees i was against, but still liked the pickup anyway.

Harrington signing, while he played pretty much awful, i dont know if there's another QB that would have played better in his place, he did win several games, or as i like to say "didn't lose".

Draft class's cant be judged in one year. They can only be judged the day after the draft is over! :)

But really, i expect a lot from several players in that draft. Especially Jason Allen.

Saban and Ricky i'll give you.

IDK if i would go that far...Take it down a notch. Just support w/e QB takes the snap for our Miami Dolfins

The Culpepper Brees thing was so bad because they were both injured at the time and both injuries were potentially career threatening. At the time i didn't think Dante's leg would hamper his play as much as Brees' arm would. I really thought Brees was going to be the next QB of Miami but it didn't happen.

2006 --a year to forget---I dont think so

Maybe a year when we look back in time and learn something from it, I don't know for sure.

Jason Taylor---Defensive MVP.

A more than solid defense that to be fair, if we had anything like a O line would have left the team probably with a winning season.

A decent progression from our draft picks of 2005---Brown, Roth and Crowder anyway. Jason Allen hopefully will come on from a mediocre performance this last year, along with Hagan who showed signs of becoming a decent pro, although I was disappointed with his performance overall last season. Wright was a gamble aswell as Toledo, and what I have seen of Evans I have liked.

So all in all I wouldn't say it was a disaster.

Stupid thing is, if a a Joe bloggs fan was in charge, he would have probably done better from the position he was in, with starting with a second pick in the first round in 2005.
