Mel Kiper said on Espn radio today that this is a bad QB class(the weakest in a long time)..said after Leinart he doesnt project another QB in the top 20!!!! Also said its the BEST class of LT's in a while.

There is a long way to go and things change and stars emerge but It might be a better idea to get our LT first and foremost...and get a QB 2nd round or 3rd round.

We've already got our QB in A.J., anf if he does not work out, Couch will lead us to the promised land!

 I hope your joking.

I've actually heard that this is going to be a strong draft for QB's.

...It seems that way but Mel thinks otherwise...but he has been wrong before.

You gotta be joking.

Gus AJ Sage and Couch are not the awnser, we will get a QB next year.

It really depends on who leaves school early. Imagine how bad the 2005 class would've been if Alex Smith and Aaron Rodgers both stayed for their senior seasons, along with Matt Leinart. It's the same reason why the 2006 LT class is unbelievable. Guys like Marcus McNeil, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and Eric Winston all stayed in school, just to name a few.

Where did you guys hear it was going to be a strong class for QBs? All I have been hearing is that it is going to be a week QB class and that the QB class will be weak for at least 2 years.

I'm not even sold on Leinart. I question his arm strength and think he may just be a product of a great QB-friendly system and great talent around him. Before the national championship game last year, I was hearing he was not a 1st round pick. Then suddenly he becomes a No. 1 overall? He did put up nice numbers, but so does every QB that gets drafted at all.

06 is qbs and LT's class.

once again kiper is just spewing crap from his mouth.

Not exactly, a lot of the big name college players are juniors. and Knowing full well whose going Number 1 in the draft a year ahead of time may very well decide whether or not they come out.

Come out in 2006, watch leinart go #1 and then get drafted yourself about 20some picks later. Or stay your senior season, and then possibly go #1 then.

Kiper has forgotten more about college football and who is a pro prospect then you or I will ever know...

I've read for awhile that it is a weak QB year....and it is a stellar offensive tackle year. Not really big news.

are some of the stronger QB prospects juniors ??

Dont forget about the QB the chargers dont keep next year!

whos to say brees wasnt a 1 yr wonder or phillip rivers turns out to be spectacular. the qb the chargers dont keep next year is not a lock for anything, at this point
