It's kinda funny how these 2 teams first 2 seasons turned out almost identical.

YEAR#1
#1 - Both teams hired 1st time headcoaches
#2 - Both teams started out very slow and at the half way point had a losing record.
#3 - Both teams went on a winning streak against weaker opponents
#4 - Both teams went into the offseason overhyped.

YEAR#2
#1 - Both teams handed the starting Qb job to a QB that had performance issues of some kind.
#2 - Both teams benched there starting QB for the backup
#3 - Both teams sucked *** the next year after the prior overhyped season.
#4 - Both teams headcoaches quit after the season was over

Just for laughs............Both teams had Mularkey calling plays and both teams signed Bennie Anderson:sidelol:

I think you better hope that the 2007 Bills aren't the 2006 Dolphins. Right now, your 2006 Bills look a lot like the 2005 Dolphins!

-New head coach the year before who, after a slow start, put a bunch of wins together at the end of the season
-Fans are in a frenzy over the future success they will have because of those wins
-The coach is a God and can do no wrong

Good luck next year!

Really?? Did the Bills have the 2nd ranked D in their second season??? Did the Bills have one of their best weapons get suspended for Drug use before their second season?? Did the Bills have a QB that was half the QB as Daunte looking great going into the 2nd season only to go down in week 4?? MM was 5-2 with a 4 game winning streak at one point...with a backup QB and RB, we also beat 4 playoff teams this year, the Bills didn't do any of that last year, Gee, the more I think about the less we look anything like the Bills in either season. We are a QB away from being a plyoff team this year, the Bills just plain suck. This year your team ends the season 31st on O and 28th on D. If we had a healthy Daunte the whole year, no chance in Hell you beat the fins.

The Bills lost their last two games, what bunch of games are you talking about?? They won one more game then us, winning only one game against a good team. Miami beat 4 playoff teams this year without a starting QB. The Bills didn't and the Bills don't look anything like the 2005 Dolphins, Miami wasn't 31st in the league on O and they weren't 28th in the league in rushing D Miami also had two RB's in 2005 that each put up almost as many yards as W. McGahee did this year nor did the Bills have a 6 game winning streak. The Bills look nothing like the 2005 Dolphins.

You honestly think a healthy Daunte would have been the difference-maker for you vs. the Bills this year? Please. We out-played you, out-coached you and flat out beat the crap out of you both games this year. And in case you forgot, we put 21 points on the board the last time we played your #2 defense, so a lot of good that little stat does for you. Hell, we beat you the first time with five rookies playing defense.

You're right about one thing: you guys didn't look anything like the Bills this year. The Bills looked like a rebuilding team that is starting to finally head in the right direction with a new GM, new coach, new coordinators and schemes on both sides of the ball, and 20 new players on our roster. The Dolphins looked like a team that was doing nothing but what you just did: make a long list of excuses why you couldn't even beat our sorry little excuse for a football team.

I've read threads on this site for quite a while now but never became a registered user until just now! I've been a dolphins fan since I was a kid and living in the heart of "Bills Country" has never made it easy on a guy. Once I saw this post I just had to sign up. I read an article about Mularkey been "interested" in the coaching job and frankly that scares the Heck out of me! This guy is bad, from his notoriously bad play calling (especially at the stupidest times)to his own media antics... example never telling the media who would be the starting QB until the last minute, Like it was some sort of surprise or gave him an edge over his opponents. Strange how just 2 years after leaving his post in Pittsburg they win a superbowl, he was basically non existent as a coach for Buffalo and was happily cheered when he "snuck out" (like someone else we know)Imagine my anger and disappiontment when he ended up in Miami!
I don't have any idea who Miami will hire but I can say this PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE HIM!!!

Yes I absolutley think Miami would have made the playoffs with a healthy Daunte. Even with the injuries to our Oline wich were many Ronnie still managed 4.2 YPC and rushed for over a 1000 yards in just 13 games. Booker had a good year and so did Wes. I'm sure a helthy deadly accurate long armed, Daunte would have produced much better numbers then Joey. Our biggest problem was consistency on O. Daunte is a very accurate QB and his career comp.% is a number that JP will only dream of, infact Daunte's compl.% is the highst of any QB in NFL history of QB's with 100+ games under their belt. So to answer your question their's no doubt in my mind a healthy Daunte playing this year and we'd be in the playoffs.

Please god tell me how losing your last two games, having the 31st ranked O and 28th ranked D against the run and only beating one good team all year is heading in the right direction?? If you had beaten the Titans and the Ravens to end the season, you'd have an argument, but they didn't. You make it sound as if Miami all year was playing all their starters had no injuries and won only one game. We won one less game then the Bills, and we had far more injuries at key positions then the Bills. Whcih tells me If we had atleast had a helthy Daunte all year like you had a healthy JP, there would have been no contest, we'd killed the Bills and been in the playoffs.

Didnt Pep hurt his knee/leg??? That sure doesnt look like he hurt his throwing arm or his brain:shakeno: Face it Pep still cant read a defense, he doesnt have Moss to toss up passes too, and he doesnt have the weak *** NFC North to abuse. Like Peps former coach would put it...."He is what we thought he was, if you want to crown his *** the crown him"!!!

Unlike your team, our problems are very few and easily identifiable. We can't stop the run and we can't run at will. Period. If we could stop the run, we'd have turned two or three of our games.

I'm sure you'd laugh at that statement, but it's no more laughable than you suggesting that you'd be in the playoffs with a healthy Culpepper.

As it was, we lost to the Colts and Chargers by a grand total of three points. If we had any ability to stop the run, we could have gotten the ball back against the Colts after we missed a field goal with six minutes left in the game.

You beat a Titans team with Kerry Freaking Collins at the helm. You lost to Houston, got beat by Green Bay by 10 points, and got your clock cleaned by Garrard and Jacksonville. Where was your #2 defense to help you there???

So I know our problem. We can't stop the run and we can definitely use better guards to improve our own running game. And I know your problems, which are infinitely deeper than ours. You have no coach. You have no quarterback. You have a defense that includes your star considering retirement. And while you can talk about beating the good teams, you couldn't beat the bad teams to save your life...let alone your season. And everyone...EVERYONE...knows...great teams win the games they're suppose to win.

Meanwhile, we won a single game more than you, and we did it with a bunch of freaking rookies and a rebuilt roster.

Time will prove us right or wrong, but if you think you're a healthy Culpepper away from being a great team, than your are more delusional than your posts indicate.

And for all that we were swept and had the snot knocked out of us both games. Yeah, good points.

I've always said and always believed points allowed is the only stat that matters for a defense.

And you make an excellent point. Who cares if you keep teams to xx number of yards per game if you can't keep them out of the endzone.

It's somewhat akin to turnovers. People think having a good turnover rate is important, but I've always argued that your turnover rate is worthless if you don't have a good rate of points off turnovers.

So your posts get no respect over here either huh? :sidelol:
