Mainly because of the Bills/Jets crappiness in 2005. Things will certainly change like they do every year, but it certainly bodes well for us, especially considering a good chunk of the schedule includes rookie headcoaches.
 
Strength of scedule doesnt mean much in the NFL. Last year everybody was saying we had one of the hardest, and looking back at it now it was one of the easiest.

No, each team has 2 different teams they play, including each other..

For instance, Miami will play the Chiefs and Steelers.. While the Patriots will play the Broncos and Bengals. The Bills will play the Chargers and Ravens. The Jets will play the Raiders and Browns.
 
Us and the Patriots have the harder 2 games but that's because we finished 1 and 2.
The Jets and Bills will suck again next year from what I can see so far this offseason so we should ba able to win all games against them if we play at a good level.
 
It looks good on paper. The bad thing about having an "easy" path to the playoffs is the team won't necassarily be tested UNTIL the playoffs.
 
I'd rather the Bills finish with a more even record so it takes them out of the running for guys like Quinn and so forth.

WTF...denver, carolina, jets (pre injuries), pats twice, tampa, cheifs, atlanta, san diego, etc. i wouldn't call it an easy schedule. Next year is a little easier i must admit.

What about last year when we finished second to last in the league? Everyone was saying that the Dolphins had the hardest schedule for the 2005.
 
You can't predict that in advance, because teams that looked like walkovers the year before often become juggernauts.
 
how is indy, chicago, pits,kc, an easy schedule next year... we got a tough one I look forward to it
 
Sure its a relatively easy schedule....until the league hands us Dec road games in Foxboro and Buffalo :(

The Phins are also very likely to face the short week on the road at Thanksgiving in Detroit - never an easy fate regardless of the opponent.
