2008 SI NFL Preview

Sounds about right.

Take SI's predictions with a grain of salt though. A few years back, they picked us to win the Super Bowl when we got FumblePepper.

looking at all the records, I have to agree with most of them. I think Miami will be better than 6-10, but that's close enough.

The 2 that surprised me most are the Eagles and Titans. I know people are expecting alot from the Eagles, but winning the division? I guess it's possible. With everything the Giants (players) and Cowboys (coaches) lost this offseason the Eagles could take the division.

The Titans? I haven't heard much from them. Are they really as good as 10-6?

God who writes these articles Minnesota going 13-3 with Tavares Jackson and no wide receivers. It seems Si is playing fantasy football all the teams they have (except for New England) have the top 3 running backs in Fantasy Minnesota, Philly and San Diego.I dont think they are even close on these predictions.Remember these are the same guys who said we were going to the Super Bowl when we got Culpepper.Tiime will tell

Yes. Titans have a very good defense. And just drafted Johnson to run the ball with white in the backfield behind a decent line.

They underrate San Diego, even though they have them going 13-3.

I really don't see another Pats-Colts championship game, nor the Eagles getting to the SB out of the NFC. I really don't.

Gee, picking the patriots to win the super bowl. they really went out on a limb there. I don't think NE even makes it to the SB this season. I think 6-10 is about right for us, I said 7-9, so, I think it's right around there. Wow though at Seattle at 9-7. And I don't think the Colts would beat SD in the playoff's. They have lost the past two times they've played.

Ridiculous.

If you take a closer look, all that looks like is like last years standings with a couple tweaks here and there.

New year, new faces, new teams.
