2009 Dolphin defensive MVP

other than Randy Starks who on the dolphins had a good yr on defense??
i'll give Sean Smith and vonte Davis and CAM WAKE a pass because they are 1ST YR players with a big upside.
But EVERYBODY else was poor to average,
Lets face it if we lose Y. Bell, G Wilson, C Crowder, K langford, P merling,
A Oyedele would anybody feel that bad
(maybe Crowder???)

This is why we are going to be watching the playoffs, not one diff maker on defense YET (vonte and smith next yr)

I like starks, soliai, will allen and our rookies, Will Allen got hurt for the year. Smith and Davis have been inconsistent but show that the ywill be good in a year or so. Starks is a workaholic, he is always around the play and is a great under rated player. Soliai is huge and has had a solid year.

Guys like Y Bell, Crowder and others who were good as "role" guys in the past or have had shown flashes of being really good players have taken huge steps back this year. Where is the fire and intensity in this defense. Jt looks old, Jo Po has had around 5 good plays this season, and wat about are two "stud" DEs langford and meriling way to show up this year. Wake has made big plays but he cannot defend the run, Roth is done, Nathan Jones is a good little player and gives good effort but he just inst that talented. And Gibril Wilson is a useless peice of trash. No wonder the raiders let him go.

Our defense needs a big change, we need safties, LBs everythig else but CB
