Henne is 6 and 3 as a starter with arguably one of the worst statistical receiving corps in the NFL. He also has 4 division wins and 3 come from behind victories.

Brady is 7 and 5 as a starter with two of the best receivers statistically in the game in 2009.

Both teams have defenses that have given up late game leads.

My point, I guess is that Henne is going to be a good quarterback for the Fins and with the addition of a top receiver and more playing time, we should be able to compete and have a shot at the Division Title and more for the next 5-10 years.

Brady is still a great QB, but at his age and that of Moss, his window is much shorter.

The Future looks Bright in Miami! Go Fins!

i dont know why u would say we have the worst receiver core or whatever
i am very confident with our receivers ....only play that i just cant to seem let go is the drop pass by ginn vs indy but besides that we have receivers that can play real good

its just we r a run first team but i always wished we threw it alot more and if we put the ball in the air which we will no doubt have to i see us gettin alot more first downs and then we will do efficent run draw plays ....but neway our tight ends r extremely underated and without fasano playing a huge game we wouldnt have won against NE imo

I don't think our receivers suck all that much. I said that we were arguably one of the worst statistically. Meaning, factoring in TD's, big drops, Yards after catch, etc. I think we will be fine if they can ever find that true number 1 receiver. Imagine Henne throwing to Moss and Welker.

Watching Henne throw the 10 yard plus passes has been a blast this year. Think of last year, we were scared to death to get into third and long. Third and long for Henne is like Third and short for Pennington. Zip, and the ball is there : )

yea true lol that zip pass to bess 1 play was like real time speed even in slomo

he was jacked up last game hence the pass right before the 4th down play to camarillo

His "come from behind victories" are:

down 3 vs. NYJ
Down 1 vs. TB
Down 2 vs. NE

He's playing well, don't start comparing him to Brady please.

I wasn't comparing their overall careers, as Henne is just starting his. I was just comparing their 2009 seasons so far as a starter with Brady having a better receiving corp.

Is that so unrealistic?

For the record, Henne has a 66% winning percentage as a starter, Brady's is 58%. One record is better than the other.

Sanchez's winning % is 500, with an Elite defense.

My point was just to state that Henne is an above average QB and that the Fins are set at that position for awhile.

We got a Franchise left tackle and a starting QB in one draft. Not bad....

:hi5:

I think we have the answer at QB that many a men could not fill. He will have work to do in the offseason to polish his game but with some more pieces, Henne could be special.

Nyjunc stop trolling hahaha, Henne outplayed Brady. Plain and simple. Compare all you want, isn't that the point of these boards?
And for all you who think our recievers aren't that bad, think again lol. They stink it up.

I'd be bitter too if my QB was playing like Sanchez.

Oh and Thanks NYJUNC for reminding us all that 2 of Henne's come from behind wins were against the JETS and PATRIOTS! Making them that much sweeter...:lol2:

You'd be bitter if your QB played well enough to win 8 of 11 games? I'll take it especially w/ a rookie.

And if he single handedly lost 4-5 games I would be crying too with his 5 interception efforts that have happened not once, but twice.

If Mark Sanchez has to wear any more knee braces, he'll look like a catcher. (Clayton)

Chad Henne is one of the league's best young QBs, as he demonstrated in the fourth quarter versus the Patriots. (Clayton)

I realize it's only John Clayton, but pretty funny stuff about Sanchez!
