For many, if they have the requisite skill set, a move to outside linebacker is a possibility. But it doesn’t suit all. You could possess the perfect size; that Demarcus Ware frame – 6’4, 262lbs. But if you aren’t strong enough, you’re not fluid, you can’t pursue and you can’t get after the quarterback from a two point stance rather than a three or even a four point stance, then your future is going to be strictly in the 4-3.

What an impressive write up...the guy looks like he can toss a OL pretty easily.
Wake on the weak side and this guy on our strong side?
Future of our DL???

They would make nice bookends!!

Another good one by you guys.....but Kirby Smart is the defensive coordinator....Jim McElwain is the offensive coordinator....

Drew Davis isn't the only tackle that Worilds has done this to....I've seen him do at least this to Matt Pipho....absolutely destroyed him with this move (which was a staple move of Worilds)....also the TT tackle...

He's more physical than Hughes...no question....and he hustles and hits you when he gets there...I think he's very similar as a prospect to Sergio Kindle...I think their styles are similar...

Isn't the Texas Tech tackle the guy that Sergio Kindle used the exact same move to knock to the ground?

Good call on Smart Ted. My bad.

That slap move and the spin are his A List rush moves.

As for the Kindle comparisons, I think he's a much, much better athlete than Kindle and is much better in space. Sergio is very mechanical when changing direction at speed. Worilds much less so.

Write up is a marketing piece. He has good first step and good upper body strength but I saw him get stuffed several times.

Also, he rushed from a 4 point stance, in a 4 man line, and matched up against a stiff of a RT on Boston College for most of the video.

An NFL T would have a pretty easy time of him.

Can he rush from 2 point?
Can he drop into zone?
Can he cover TE?
Can he be stout against run?

He didnt look "special" to me. A 3rd round at best, 4th to 5th most probably.

what's with the name change he get married? worilds b. free?

How is it a 'marketing' piece?

You missed the point; he's a rush end in a 4-3, who goes upfield on most plays. When dropping into coverage he looks smooth and has good feet. Unfortunately with most conversions from end to LB you can't answer whether he can rush from a 2 point stance, cover a tight end, etc., as they're not his responsibilities play by play.

He looked stout enough against the run, in part because he's powerful in the lower part of his body and partly because he disengages quickly. When he gets too high, he can be walked off the LOS. All that was in the marketing.

As a canes fan I have seen this kid play some ball and impreses me everytime. Rarely taking plays off and always in the attack mode. Gets deep penatration on his rushs and good at persuing the ball carrier. Seems to have above average instincs and gets down, the LOS very well on running plays when not to his side of the field. Seems to have a good change of direction and aslo seems to know how the lineman is going to try to tale him on and knows which one of his moves to use which he has 3 really good ones. Whould be a great addition to this team.

If so, then it worked; you responded. Thanks for taking the time.

i like him more than kindle on the strongside...i think he uses his hands more effectively and looks much more fluid in his change of direction...i'm not overly enthusiastic about either worilds or kindle as run defenders...they get moved out a little too much for my taste but just about everyone i'm looking at not 270 plus lbs and likely more natural 4-3 pro ends do...i think worilds has more upside as a run defender than kindle...kindle closes on the ball faster though...and i think kindle may have the slightly better motor...

given the choice i'd take worilds over kindle as a solb...i don't think either warrant first round consideration however...but i think worilds may be good value at #43
