The rule changes enable teams to protect their best players with tags and restricted free agent tenders.

I'm not so sure the Packers wouldn't be interested in Smiley or Ginn or both.

Driver is getting old and they really don't have any true speed on their offense. Jordy Nelson isn't exactly scary returning kicks and their run blocking isn't good.

But Ginn has such a bad rep as a wuss. We wouldn't get good value.
