found this info online. Not sure how much to invest in this but I'm sure it's pretty close.http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/miami-dolphins/yearly/

looks like we can free up cap space in a few places.

1) Fasano is awful, cut our losses and use his 3.6M cap hit to put a dent in Finley's contract to replace him. He's the 8th highest paid on the team and 13th highest paid TE. He isn't even better than Clay who I think can be a stud.
2) Re-work Long's deal and maybe save 2-3 M this year.
3) Bell doesn't produce enough to be putting a 4.3M cap hit on our budget. He's the 4th highest paid on Miami and 5th highest paid safety. If anyone thinks Bell is a top 5 safety, they should be shot immediately.

Adding up all the available salaries we are at 62.8M roughly. we have 14 total FA's not counting JT. I can see us signing most of them with a few exceptions, i'm talking about you Henne, Losman and Merling.

don't think that's accurate. that list only shows the base salaries for 2012 without bonuses. those count into the cap as well though

your right. you have to click on each player to see the cap hit. in that case, fasano 4.6 M, Bell 5.2M. 10 M for 2 giant scrubs

would be nice if dansby restructured as well. Nice fat 12.8M cap hit for him this year

"dansby too"

they are scrubs, this guy is a beast, this ones a stud.

"im talking about YOU henne etc etc"

oh the people id love to see on the ball court or football field that post on this site.

Did you watch Fasano this year? He had one hell of a year. Agree with you on Bell. Either cut or restructure.

Philbin's a cerebral guy, and I like that, as long as he can connect with the players and command respect in the way Cameron didn't.

I think we should do something with Bell as he is over payed at this point in his career but he has never been, isn't now, and won't ever be a scrub

Patrick Willis 5 million cap hit
Dansby almost 13 million

Don't try and skew the fact that Willis' deal pays him $50 million over five years and Dansby's pays only $43 million over 5 years.

Willis has a low cap number for a reason, when the 49ers resigned him, they had to abide by the 30% rule, Dansby signed as an unrestricted Free Agent.

Dansby gets paid the most per year of any ILB in the league.

It's incredible how many people think so poorly of Fasano. He's not Gates or Graham, but he's very well-rounded. He's an excellent blocker and a solid receiver. There'd be no reason to release him unless you picked up someone like Finley. To say Fasano isn't as good at Clay is so laughable I question whether I should read anything else you've written.
