The blame is being thrown around to everyone after the cataclysmic meltdown of the past two weeks. One thing that I don't see being talked about is the overall lack of contribution from this group of rookies this season - is this an indictment on Jeff Ireland or the coaches for not playing these guys?

They draft two corners in the first three rounds and neither of them could unseat Nolan Carroll or Jimmy Wilson? Or even guys like RJ Stanford and the other 'acorns' plucked from the waiver wire?

Philip Wheeler proves time and time again that he's a liability everywhere on the field and you can't plug in Jelani Jenkins to see if he's an improvement?

I'm also not happy at all with the way Dion Jordan was used this season. I just hope his development hasn't been stunted after being relegated to pretty much only special teams, save for a third down play here and there.

Not to mention with the revolving door at offensive line, the third-round draft choice gets next to none playing time, with undrafted rookie Sam Brenner favored over him.

Caleb Sturgis and Don Jones were the only rookies that seemed to make a consistent impact all season long. Let that sink in - a kicker and a special teams gunner.

Does anyone else share my frustration in this regard?

Wasn't don jones benched at one point because he was doing poorly at gunner?

lol...you're late to the party dude. I've been frustrated with Ireland and the draft picks since 2009.

yes. This is why all must go. Picks were bad? I guess. But this coaching staff has been the most stubborn I have ever seen. Can't take them any longer

To say intensity does not matter? To continue go/go go? No use of RT's ability to roll out, run & QB sneak. be gone!

the dion jordan situation drives me crazy, kid should of been playing all year, not randomly a down here or there. screw this staff

Joe Philbin seems to prefer to gently ease the drafted rookies into the team rather than throw them in the deep end. We will have a better appreciation of how good or bad the 2013 draft class is next year. The success that he had up in Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson and others having to wait their turn to get out on the field, is not an accident. Joe works to a different time schedule. Hope that they can come good..
