Our salary cap is in great shape. We will also cut some players... Wheeler? Patterson? Daniel Thomas? That will give us even more space. We need Grimes back. We need Soliai or Starks back. We have holes to fill. Some will be drafted, some will be signed. Who would you like to sign in free agency?

Here's my take:

Rashad Jennings - OAK - RB. As a short yardage back. We keep Miller as our #1. Given a decent to good o-line, along with good play calling, I thing both can strive. Bye bye Thomas. Keep Thigpen and Gillislee or whatever his name is...

Jermichael Finley - GB - TE. I know his injury was serious. But if he's good to go, why not give him a try? He's still young and very talented. A one year prove it deal. Resign Keller to the same kinda deal. With Clay and Sims on the roster as well, we could could go with 2 TE sets and Clay at FB. Try and defend that!

Michael Oher - BAL - OT. I think he would make a good-very good right tackle.

Mike Neal - GB - OLB. Young, big, fast, explosive... What we need !

Jairus Byrd - S - BUF. Ball hawk. Enough said.

How much would my free agency cost us, considering my cuts?

Oher is pretty terrible not worth it i have watched him and go read up on him with raven fans, Byrd would replace Clemons otherwise we wont sign him.

Finely is finished.

Jennings will resign

surprised u didnt put Albert on the list who probably is the best offensive linemen on free agency

In order:
Jennings: no, no FA RB because you can get a solid one in the draft at a cheaper price. RB draft value is at an all time low.
Finley: no. He just had surgery for his back and has always been dinged up. If you're going for a FA TE then look at Dennis Pitta.
no. Oher is an upgrade for us, but he's had issues, especially in the penalty phase of the game.
Neal: Yes, for the right price.
Byrd: Yes yes yes if he isn't tagged.

The FA that would make the most impact for Miami IMHO is Alex Mack.

Jennings might be a cheap option if we don't plan on drafting one in the 4th-6th round. Dixon is another option.
Finley might come back healthy, who knows, same goes for Keller. I'd take whoever of those 2 can pass a physical. We need a seam threat TE that's for sure.
Hell no to Oher.. The guy is done. I'd much rather take Rodger Saffold for that same money.
I actually like the Mike Neal signing. Very cheap option that could come in and play if/when Wheeler starts to stink it up.
Byrd will cost way too much for a position that actually is in good shape.... Just draft a guy for the future, after Clemons drops off completely (might already have a guy on the roster in Jones/Thomas).

I'd add Giacomini to that list seeing as we need a guard badly. Also Linval Joseph a very underrated DT from the Giants stacked Dline. The Gmen probably won't be able to resign him, he should be somewhat cheap compared to Starks.

Already happened

You never know though.. He could play better his 2nd year in the system. If he starts playing like last year then we should have a guy that could step in and take his spot.

At most 2 guys from that list. What we need in free agency is to get at least 2 starters. T and G and maybe a TE or Safety. I don't see us gettng more than 3 or 4 free agents. Unless we lose all of our free agents in which case we'd have more money but also more holes. The more I think about it the more I see us losing both Starks and Soliai.

Ozzy rules!!

Byrd. Albert. Cut Wheeler. Draft an LB. If Patterson isn't healthy, cut him. We definitely have the money to get Byrd and Albert.

Draft should be:
1)TE or LB (If you cut Wheeler)
2)OG
3)RB
