Rishard Matthews: 121.1 (61 targets, 43 receptions, 662 yards, 4 touchdowns, 1 interception)

Lamar Miller: 107.4 (57 targets, 47 receptions, 397 yards, 2 touchdowns)

DeVante Parker: 98.3 (50 targets, 26 receptions, 494 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception)

Damien Williams: 97.6 (28 targets, 21 receptions, 142 yards, 1 touchdown)

Dion Sims: 96.6 (25 targets, 18 receptions, 127 yards, 1 touchdown)

Jarvis Landry: 86.8 (166 targets, 110 receptions, 1157 yards, 4 touchdowns, 3 interceptions)

Kenny Stills: 76.2 (63 targets, 27 receptions, 440 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception)

Jordan Cameron: 57.2 (70 targets, 35 receptions, 386 yards, 3 touchdowns, 4 interceptions)

Greg Jennings: 56.3 (36 targets, 19 receptions, 208 yards, 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions)

Conclusions I draw from this, having watched us play this year:

1. DeVante Parker did a really nice job once Rishard Matthews went down injured, but we still need to give strong consideration to trying to re-sign Matthews. He was very productive for us when we threw the ball his way.

2. Greg Jenning is gone. He's as bad as paper as he was with the eyeball test.

3. Jordan Cameron, as much as I liked the signing, can't be retained at his current salary.

4. We aren't getting the most out of Jarvis Landry. Personally, I blame Bill Lazor for that. We decided that we were going to give Jarvis a high volume of low quality touches, and it didn't work very well.

Everyone's so gung ho on resigning Miller, I say spend that money on Mathews, our 3 headed monster at receiver will be unstoppable

changes in the offensive scheme and ability to play with less protection help assuming we upgrade oline personnel should help Jordan camerons production...I would seriously consider that when making a Cameron decision

of course that's assuming we do in fact FINALLY fix this damn oline

I'd also add that the Kenny Stills number is a little misleading, since passer rating factors in completion percentage. We had about seven yards per attempt throwing to Kenny, and close to 5% of the throws that went in his direction resulted in touchdowns.

He actually wasn't a particularly bad target.

The great teams retain their own. I hate that argument when it's a team like us and we draft so poorly and we keep these fringe guys just because we drafted them. But guys like Miller and Rishard, who are at most $4-6M AAV guys are worth keeping. These numbers illustrate that. Rishard is conceivably a 4/16M guy and totally affordable, with upside. Miller is basically a 4/20 or 5/25 guy. The important thing to consider when retaining our own guys, is our current culture. Are these guys part of the solution or the problem? Miller and Rishard to me are part of the solution. Is OV? Is Shelby? That's where we're getting into this questions. We've got boneheaded and undisciplined plays every week in Vernon. We've got old rawdog Shelby who sends passive aggressive tweets supporting Miko Grimes. These are the important factors to consider entering this offseason.

The disparity of targets to Landry and the rest of the receivers is a problem. It seemed obvious to me in games especially in certain down and distance situations you just knew Tannehill was throwing to Landry. Tannehill has to do a better job of spreading the ball around.

When Mathews got injured he was actually leading the team in yardage and TD's ahead of Landry. I say we see what he gets offered as a FA and match it if it's reasonable. Obviously our QB and him are on the same page.
That 4/16 price FTB mentioned seems reasonable to me.
If he decides to go elsewhere so be it.

I've been calling for the Dolphins to re-sign Matthews for a while. That needs to get done. Miller will depend on who the new coach is but I think he would probably like to stay. OV is going to the highest bidder and I'm OK if he walks.

oc has to do a better job of calling plays that spread it around...there's a difference

Really hope we get rid of Jennings but Tannenbaum made a point yesterday of mentioning how valuable his presence has been in the locker room. Throughout the entire press conference I believe he was the only player Tannenbaum lauded. Hope it doesn't mean we keep him.

Here's what's insane: Greg was still able to do a good job of being in the right place and getting open this season.

He just failed to catch the damn ball.

Rishard and Tannehill had some good chemistry to start out the year before his injury. I think that the game plan and Tannehill leaned on Landry a bunch when he went down, but then Tannehill started to develop confidence and chemistry with Parker as well. I'd love to have Matthews back next season because our WR Core would be wonderful all around, but I also get it's a business.

trying to justify that contract and pay out for that 2015 production in other ways

next year I would expect to see more parker emphasis in terms of scheme...at least I hope I do...not so much stagnant boundary more use of motion to get off coverage and more isolation and red zone emphasis

and I would expect that kid to have a big year in 2016...maybe 1200 and 8 or more tds...expecting big things there

Thats it ? His current numbers projected to that over a full season, I expect him to improve from that in year 2.
