2016 NFL DRAFT: The draft thak killed Miami !

Yeah. I've seen the o and the d. Highly doubt a better draft on either side of the ball would've saved 2016.

You'll be much better when you move past the blame phase of grief and onto the acceptance phase.

Miami was supposedly set on WRs but drafted more including trading multiple picks to get one that doesn't play. Could have used some lbs or cbs

Not to mention they let Rishard Matthews walk only to trade picks for a WR that doesn't see the field. Damn fools running the show in Miami.

I don't think one year, especially this last one, is what has "killed" us

I'm not about to trash this draft yet. I was about the biggest Xavien Howard supporter on this board, and he's proving to be a very good pick. Laremy Tunsil looks like he was an excellent pick too. I can't really see us getting two better players from those picks. Also, I have a high opinion of Jakeem Grant, and have been very intrigued by him since we drafted him. That was a dang good pick, IMHO.

I had problems with a few of the others though. I didn't like the trading of picks to get Caroo. I did not like the Jordan Lucas or Thomas Duarte picks, but they were late round selections. The jury is out on Drake, and most of us think we gave up too much for Caroo at a position of low need. But, that's not such a bad draft overall. When you hit on your 1st and 2nd round picks, then find a gem like Grant in the late rounds ... that's a decent draft. I wish we could draft like that every year. And, it's too early to really judge Drake and Caroo yet.

The draft that killed the Miami Dolphins? Nah, that's just snake-oil salesman hyperbole.

Third round pick was misused and definitely should have gone defense but that's the only argument you can make. You gonna pass on LT if you could redo the draft? I wouldn't.

No 4th, 5th or 6th rounder makes an impact on this defense this year.

If Tunsil hadn't had such ****ty friends and acquaintances, this would have been a terrible draft. I'm not going to give Tbum credit for the obvious pick there.

Miami could have taken the Dak Prescott with the 4th round pick Miami gave away to move up 4 spots to take Howard who in all likelihood would have been available if Miami would done nothing.

There's that.

nobody in their right mind right now would say " we should have passed on Tunsil "

So ? Omar's Article (as usual ) is complete trash

My thoughts as well Digital. Now if we're talking 2013 that's another story. I think you mentioned everything I would have with the exception of Brandon Doughty who could also pay dividends in the future maybe as a backup or potentially more.
