CJ isn't a huge loss, but now we have another hole on a team of swiss cheese.

Fins aren't going to the playoffs this year. 2016 should focus on the evaluation of Tannehill running the offense in Adam Gase's system.

Miami must correct the line as top priority so Tannehill's sacks are not the issue this year.

ONLY consider defense in the draft once the offensive line has been addressed. If a great defender falls to #13, take him, but offensive line must be addresses by round 2 AT LATEST.

To make a fair and final evaluation of Tannehill, draft a lineman in round 1 that can play guard, but more importantly, a tackle that can take Albert's place.
Not only when (not if) he gets hurt this year, but for years to come.

Complete this offense and let Tannehill and Adam Gase go to work. Don't stress out trying to complete the defense. They sucked last year, how much worse can they be.

Lets get a complete, fair evaluation of Tannehill this year so Miami can cut ties at QB in 2017 (if need be) and grab the top QB available.

If Tannehill can succeed behind a good line and a good system, then 2017 can be a defensive minded offseason with plenty of cap space.

If Miami isn't making the playoffs this year I don't even care about the season. The point of playing is to win. If that's already hopeless who gives a **** anymore?

Ha ha team does dick to protect the qb/take pressure off said qb but...

Qbs on notice

Our offense doesn't need much work, a vet RB and a vet guard and they'll be fine, the rest is on tannestill.

If we draft Conklin I'm ok with that, otherwise this should be defensive heavy draft.

I swear I saw this thread two years ago...must be a retread using find and replace 2014 for 2016 and Bill Lazor for Adam Gates.

I wonder whose name will replace Adam Gates for the 2018 thread?

I think hedging your bets on a rookie guard, regardless of where he is drafted, is a recipe for disaster. Rookies struggle and to not have a backup plan other than a guy that has never played guard before is incompetence at it's best, especially after having a bird's eye view of the situation.

Look at the offensive Line issues that...

Tom Brady, Russell Wilson & Aaron Rodgers all had to deal with.

At some point a QB has to be able to deal with adversity.

Gase is the guy who will be really put to the test this season, not RT.

All the harbingers are bad.

Saying that this team would kick last season's team arse is

an insult to all the players who persevered and fought last season,

the players who are still here

were teammates and FRIENDS WITH THE PLAYERS WHO LEFT.

t-BOMB will be sitting pretty with many more of Ross' millions in his bank to spend in 2017

Is this going to be the third season in a row we go into the season w Dallas Thomas as our starting guard ?

Whoever thinks Tannehill isn't a damn good QB at this point deserves to drown with Tannenbaum's ship.

Tannehill isnt the problem, if you cant see that then i really dont know what to tell u...

I doubt it. Bushrod will beat him out. At least he will not be steamrolled and manhandled. Might not be great, but he will be competent.

Yes, that is why they signed Bushrod.
