Just wanted to share with you guys the video from our annual #MetLifeTakeover. I hope most of you guys know by now but the takeover is the party we throw for the Dolphins at Jets game every year. It started with about 30 of us and then 70 and then 200 and then 750 and we have had around 1000 the last few years.

This year we sold 1100 tickets and used the money we made to donate over close to $14,000 in charity.

Last year our video was hosted by Sam Madison who just came to the event on his own. He was trying to buy tickets from us and I told him he could have them for free, we just wanted him to introduce the video. He ended up not just introducing it but hosting the whole thing!

This year Sam had to work but we got comedian Oscar Collazos who is from Plantation and is a die hard Dolphins fan. He interviewed Joe Rose & Nat Moore who did their radio show Cup of Joe live from the tailgate and he also interviewed Phins CEO Tom Garfinkel and SVP Jason Jenkins. Plus there's a performance from Solo D.

The video runs a little long, but I have a feeling you guys are gonna really dig it and hopefully it will get you pumped for Jets week.

If anyone wants to come next year email dolfansnyc@gmail.com to get on the mailing list and if you are ever in NYC whole the Dolphins are playing make sure you come out to our bar Slattery's Midtown Pub where we throw a big party for every Dolphins game. Phins up!

Love it when fans are so loyal to a team. Thick and thin. Good and bad. Mountains and valleys. Highs and lows.

The game was such a bummer, but the tailgate was amazing. It was my first time going. It makes it so much cooler to know what was done for charity.
