Lance Zierlein, NFL.com: LB Haason Reddick, Temple

“Coming off an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl, Reddick is one of the most intriguing prospects in this draft. He has the athleticism to play in space on first and second down, and the talent to rush from the edge on third. Sounds exactly like something the Dolphins could use.”

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL.com: LB T.J. Watt, Wisconsin

“Watt isn't as freaky as his older brother, J.J., but he is a very good football player. He is ultra-versatile, athletic and instinctive.”

Bucky Brooks, NFL.com: DE Taco Charlton, Michigan

“The team's primary pass rushers (Cameron Wake and Mario Williams) are on the back side of their careers. Charlton would add some speed, athleticism, and sizzle as a 3-4 rusher.”

Chad Reuter, NFL.com: TE O.J. Howard, Alabama

“Howard can be a safety valve for Ryan Tannehill and a good run blocker on the edge.”

Rob Rang, CBSSports.com: TE David Njoku, Miami (Fla.)

“With current tight ends Dion Sims , Jordan Cameron and MarQueis Gray each in the final year of their contracts, the Dolphins will certainly be looking for help at the position and could be too intrigued with the athletic upside of the local product, Njoku, to let him leave town.”

Dane Brugler, CBSSports.com: TE O.J. Howard, Alabama

“There are glaring needs on defense for the Dolphins, but an athletic tight end like Howard would do wonders for the Miami offense.”

Mel Kiper, ESPN: LB Jarrad Davis, Florida

“As a steady and reliable linebacker with a nose for the football, Davis' versatility stands out. He could play inside or outside linebacker at the next level, though he's not a guy who will get 10 sacks on the outside in a 3-4. He can be an every-down guy."

Chris Burke, SI.com: CB Sidney Jones, Washington

“The Dolphins may want to stand pat at corner (at least early in the draft) — Byron Maxwell’s contract doesn’t become fully expendable until 2018, and youngsters Xavien Howard, Tony Lippett and Bobby McCain have shown promise. On the flip side, Jones is an impressive, physical cover man, essentially a more complete version of Howard.”

Matt Miller, Bleacher Report: EDGE player, Takkarist McKinley, UCLA

Steve Palazzolo, Pro Football Focus: EDGE player, Charles Harris, Missouri

“Miami went on a nice playoff run in 2016, but there were some concerns up front beyond DT Ndamukong Suh and DE Cameron Wake. Harris adds a pass-rushing threat after finishing 12th among the nation’s edge rushers with an 88.2 pass-rush grade. Armed with the best spin move in college football, Harris has been one of the nation’s best pass rushers the last two years, though there is some work to be done to improve his work in the run game.”

Eric Galko, Sporting News: DE Solomon Thomas, Stanford

“The Dolphins relied on Cam Wake to generate their pass rush without Olivier Vernon, and Mario Williams was a bit of a letdown in 2016. Thomas is a versatile interior and outside rusher who can fit any defense Miami wants to use …”

Jason McIntyre, TheBigLead.com: CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama

“Humphrey started the season with a tipped pick-6 against USC. The Dolphins needs feel similar to the Redskins, Raiders and Falcons — the offense is impressive, but the defense needs work.”

Video is of Andrew Siciliano, Mike Tannenbaum, and Mike Mayock in the booth talking at the Senior Bowl.

I really like Haason Reddick. I think he's the passionate playmaker the defense needs. T.J. Watt would be an awesome pickup as well.

We should go after 3 LB's this year possibly... a free agent pick up and a draftee early and a draftee late in the draft. If we could get Jarrad Davis or Cunningham it would be a win.

Galko was high as a kite when he put this together with Thomas was falling to 22

I would worry about taking a player from temple in the 1st, just because of competition. I wouldn't be mad though if we grabbed an edge defender in the first AND someone like reddick in the 2nd if we has available.

I must say, that is the absolute best array of choices I've seen mocked to us in any draft in a long time. All of those guys make sense in some way or another. I'd be ecstatic if we drafted Solomon Thomas, TJ Watt or OJ Howard. Heck, I'd be happy with Taco Charlton, Sidney Jones, Haason Reddick or David Njoku. All of those guys are good football players. And the rest are decent choices for us as well, like Marlon Humphrey, Charles Harris, Jarrad Davis and Takkarist McKinley. None of those guys are bad picks like the ones typically mocked to us.

But realistically, Solomon Thomas and likely OJ Howard will not be there. Guys like TJ Watt, Taco Charlton, Sidney Jones and Haason Reddick are all viable first round choices. Right now Watt is being projected early 2nd round, but I think after the combine he shoots up into the teens or 20's, right around where we'll be drafting. David Njoku is another one to watch. This kid can really be an impact TE, but if he measures at 6'3, as I suspect he will, then he may be a 2nd round guy. If he measures in at 6'4 or taller, which would surprise me, then he shoots up into the first round.

If we play this draft right, we could get 2 real impact players. How great would it be to land a stud LB, stud TE and grab a solid starting RG in round 3? Then we could use FA to fill the other holes with solid players and the bottom half of the draft to take fliers on talented LB's, CB's and others.

some of those guys have really done their Miami homework

projecting 34 players to Miami as if we run a 34 defense or something

We haven't played 3-4 since 2011. How do these people still have jobs?

No question. That jumped out at me immediately. I was thrilled with the early names, then Charlton is okay, and most of the others are fine also.

Normally I see a guy pegged to the Dolphins and immediately hope we can do better than that.

T.J. Watt is actually suffering from comparisons to his brother. Take away that aspect and he'd already be higher on the lists. Like Digital, I suspect that won't last too much longer. Very, very good player.

I think we should trade up using our second round pick to grab two players within the top 40. That's normally where the level begins to drop off. If we went 2-0 with legitimately special guys I wouldn't really care about the lower tier picks, other than entertainment. You can fill out a roster with those guys but elite players push you toward the top.

I was surprised to read this, and see Bucky did zero research before publishing this. The dumbest thing is Taco fits a 4-3 much better than a 3-4 DE. I would be psyched if we added Taco, as he can stop the run and bring a pass rush. His size would on the edge could be huge. I also love the idea of having Taco and Kiko on the same defense, as it makes me laugh.

I think Kiper was saying Davis fits as a 4-3 OLB, and not a 3-4 OLB, but worded it poorly. NFL.com, as well as most other project Davis as 4-3 OLB.

Davis as a 43 olb where weak? Nah

Thats a 43 mike or a 34 ilb thumper

A 43 strong return would be horrible value there at 22 given he offers no edge rush win vs tackles in the sub

Harris looks really good. Going to be special

I see Eric Galko's latest mock today has Miami taking RB D'Onta Foreman. He seems to think Miami will be drafting a running back, if not in rnd 1, within the first 4 rounds. I asked what he was smoking and said thats what he's hearing. I'd be shocked if that's the case
