It was kinda weird though ... Normally I'm extremely pissed for a few days, then I'm just depressed for about a week before moving on. This year? Shocked, then bummed for about 20 minutes ... then oddly calm. *shrugs* In fact, if it didn't mean that Wilson would get his name on the Cup, I'd probably root for Ovechkin to get one.

As someone who grew up in the DC area, and followed them for a long time (38 years to be exact), I can honestly say I never thought this day would come. Perhaps it's a sign that good things are ahead for the Dolphins, who also have not won a championship (in my lifetime lol).

Wasn’t discrediting the Devils at all. They had a great year, and Hall is probably going to win the MVP. The Panthers need to realize the games count the same in November/December as they do in March/April.
