Breakout Player: Jerome Baker
Impact Rookie: Preston Williams
Most Improved: Mike Gesicki

Biggest Disappointment: Josh Rosen
Treading Water: Minkah Fitzpatrick
Last Year In Miami: Reshad Jones

WTF Were They Thinking?: Bobby McCain (at FS)
2020 #1 Pick: Tua Tagovailoa

I agree with it all but Minkah.

I expect a damn good year from him.
i hope so man i just wish the staff immediately ID'd what they wanted to do with him as in he's the starting FS here for the next 5 years type thing. right now it feels more like a guess. slot corner? boundry? safety? just put him somewhere and let him flourish.

He was never drafted to be a FS, he rarely played it at Bama.

He was drafted to play exactly how he's gonna play which is a rover. He'll play in the box, he'll play deep, he'll cover TEs etc. putting him in a single spot doesn't actually use his tools to the max.

sure, but there was literally nothing from him in all the camp reports or any of the preseason games. it's like he wasn't even out there. this is the time where if we have something with him you're hearing about it and seeing the impact stuff in games. seems like it just wasn't there in camp and preseason.

I'd agree with Baker
Impact rookie imo is Wilkins tho I really like Williams
Don't agree on Gesicki. Our O-line will need help with blocking. I'm expecting O'Leary and Smythe to play more in order to help block.

Bigest disappointment might be RM as I believe we'll run with two LB's a lot and he won't be one of them.
As far as Jones, yes but he won't be the only one.....lol

Tua sounds good to me.

Impact Rookie: Christian Wilkins

i dont get the indifference to drake around here. i loved the pick and as the kid has shown he's a playmaker. there are only a few true #1 backs in this league anymore and they command huge money i dont think theyre worth. i like drake.

good call. remember kwon was flashing in camp as a rookie then got hurt the first preseason game on special teams and just hasnt been the same since. big disappointment. thought we had something there.

This is not a player prediction, but a prediction nonetheless: I have a feeling a surprise team is going to challenge the Dolphins for the #1 pick. Not the Cardinals, not the Giants, not the Bengals, not the Redskins, but another team no one expects.

The Pats? Lol. Ok for real, Washington?

LOL, imagine the Pats. It would be Belicheat's ultimate troll job.

Washington wouldn't surprise me. I'm thinking some other team will emerge as our biggest threat. Maybe the Raiders?

Yeah I don’t dislike him, he’s a playmaker and an instant legend with the Miami miracle last year, but I expected him to run away with the starting job and him and Ballage seem like they’ll have an even amount of snaps. And now the o line is basically 2nd and 3rd string patchwork so I went from expecting a thousand + yard year to a 3 YPC type season from him. Anyone on the offense is an easy target to disappoint this year imo
