Chase is definitely in the cards. Especially since we have 3 first round picks. If we don’t get the 1st overall and Tua is not a viable option, you pick Chase and draft a QB somewhere else in the first round.

I'd love to see us really concentrate on offense in 2020. It's a 2 year rebuild anyways. At least make one side of the ball look special. Flores has shown he can make chicken salad outta chicken **** on defense anyhow.

QB with the 1st pick. Epenesa with the Steelers pick. Creed Humphreys (C) with the Texans pick. Best available OL at the top of the 2nd. Stud RB with our other 2nd.

In FA, get the two best OL available. Possibly another speedy WR.

Fill out the rest of the draft with DBs, possibly another developmental OL.

I'd be just fine with watching games in 2020 ending with scores of 37-34, 40-32, 28-32... whether it's a W or an L. Just show us some offensive fireworks and the fanbase, as well as the national media, would be very hyped for 2021.

There is a subset of fans here who do not believe in pocket QBs and/or development time.

It has been pointed out to them that a) QBs who rely on mobility are subject to a much greater injury risk, and b) are like RBs and tail waaay off when they hit 30, but they don't want to hear it. Reality has changed... their guy is magic.

It's disenheartening.
