Now this is an example of a truly awful season from 2018. Poor Artur Sitkowski from Rutgers.

Are you referring to when I was one of a few backing Drew Lock... who is now the future and starting QB of the Bronco’s?

And all the guru’s and many others were wrong?

What’s comical is how many fail to realize some players are just repetitively injured whilst others can’t stay healthy
I am not interested in career 8-8 QBs they are a fine a dozen in every draft

Congratulations - someone will throw you a party - the book is not out on your superhero after a full season of tape

Now back to your research - there is quantitative and qualitative research and you have done neither

I can see the "you can only like one QB" is alive and well here.
I like Burrow and I like Tua. There are questions about both.
Tua because of injuries and Burrow because of the leap he made this past season.
I'd be happy with either but I know Burrow's out of reach so Tua it is.........at 5

?.....Drew Lock started 5 games at the end of the season in 2019 and was 4-1?

He averaged 200 yards per game, thew for under 200 3 times, over 300 once. He threw 7 TD passes and 3 picks. QBR was 48.

Let's tap the brakes on Drew Lock OK?

? ...football is about winning... you tap whatever you want too... I know Lock is a franchise QB.

3-8 before he started....4-1 with Lock starting!

Nuff said!

I just want a QB at 5. I prefer Tua, but I’ll get behind whoever they take (yes, even - gulp - Herbert).

I just don’t want to trade any picks. None of these QBs are sure things. It’s such a crapshoot.

He is the QB of an NFL franchise if that is what you mean.

He may turn out to be good but he certainly did not show enough to convince anyone that he is a "franchise QB".

He convinced John Elway... if not you!

Drew Lock is talented QB who is going to rise!

I like your list. Do you still feel that way with the injury risk regarding Tua at 1?

I thought Drew Lock had a lot more talent and upside considering where he was drafted. That's what didn't make sense to me. Why were guys like Eli Manuel and Christian Ponder and Paxton Lynch allowed such first round benefit of a doubt while a swagger guy like Drew Lock drops well into the second?

Doesn't mean it will pan out. The relative slotting is what I had trouble with. Based on the prior examples I thought someone would nibble earlier.

Yeah me too. And the thing is, the Broncos passed on Drew Lock TWICE! before picking him. Same could happen to Jordan love this year. I wouldn't be surprised if Hurts is picked before Love.

*raises hand*

I liked Lock as well.
