2021 Composite Rankings (Offense)

If we are considering wasting a top 50 pick on a RB I'd much rather use that resource elsewhere. Like using a 2nd rounder to trade up from 18 to secure Pitts and Waddle. Then go grab 2 of Gainwell, Sermon, Herbert or Stevenson in late day 2 or day 3.

I could live with RB at #50 but my philosophy in general is no RB in R 1-2.

I could make an exception for a truly elite guy, especially if I had a deep roster with a real hole at RB.

But there is not a single RB in the NFL right now i would have used a 1st round pick on.

Taking a RB in the first is like overbidding in an auction... sure, you won the bid, but the remorse generally sets in pretty quickly.

So few of them remain healthy for 5 years... even fewer of them sign a second contract with you. Those that do, get wildly overpaid...

You are drafting a RB for 3-4 years, and that's it, and a first round draft pick for such a short shelf life is... wasteful. It's better to keep taking them in the middle-to-late rounds until you hit on one.
I fundamentally agree with what are saying. However, given where Miami is at with Tua this year, an effective RB that can also pass catch and block I think would be worth it.

If a RB or any player for that matter is highly effective for 4 years in a Dolphin uniform, he would be right near the top of the list in comparison to other Dolphin 1st round picks since 1997...

Alvin Kamara, Saquan and Nick Chubb I would of..

We were allegedly going to take dobbins at 56 last year before Baltimore sniped him at 55. If they want one of the top RBs and wait again like last year then you have to scratch your head.

We passed up on three talented players in Akers, Taylor, and Dobbins at 39.

On the RB issue, I would be fine to take any of the top 3 at 36. Ideally we trade down from 3, and pick up a high 2nd and that gives us 3 seconds. I’m fine with using 36 on Harris, Williams, or Etienne. I wasn’t as high on Etienne (still I’m not) because I don’t see him as an every down back or breaking many tackles inside the tackles. But with Malcolm Brown I can handle that mix and all 3 RBs can be effective catching the ball. Another good weapon for Tua. Of course, there are other options/needs. All depends on what we do with 3 and 18.

Anyone seen this type of finish before? Talk about adding insult to injury...

Thought Dez would be taller. He's solid tho.

Tutu holds absolutely zero interest for me. Zero.

Tutu is lightning fast and an exciting play maker but he is just too small.

The Tyreek Hill comps are way off, Hill is a strongly built dude while Atwell is waifish.

Best case Atwell is a specialist who touches the ball a few times a game, there is no way he can hold up to serious usage.

Thought Tutu would be in the 4.3's

pass for me with that size too.... seen enough of Jakeem out there and he is much faster
