Kivon Bennett is talented and an interesting player if he could manage to pull his head out of his ass and grow up a little bit. Although that rarely happens these days with young'uns. He's capable of ranking higher. He's the son of former Alabama and Buffalo Bills linebacker Cornelius Bennett.

Mike Rose is a beast. I predict he ends his college career getting over 100 tackles this season. Iowa St. Is stacked this year. I'm putting them at the top if the Big 12 division this year.

Indiana’s two linebackers would start today for the Dolphins and be huge upgrades today,

McFadden is reminscent of a healthy John Offerdahl. If he gets a paw on you, you’re going down. Cam Jones is explosive and will absolutely pop you. If you can get McFadden in the second and Jones in the 4th, you just upgraded your LBers.

As much as we talk about the line (and right now Miami doesn’t have a legit starting tackle, although you hope Eichy gets there), linebacker is a massive need. Forget that they play at the same school. These two would help immensely and fit our needs. No more stiffs like Scarlett. Put Van Ginkel in a limited role. This a big need, not minor.

Who do you like better between Lloyd and Dean?

I haven’t studied it closely yet and I’d like to see the test results from the combine. But I’d say Lloyd because of his size and agility. Looks good in coverage and is physical enough to tackle against a physical running attack. I suspect he can run in the 4.5’s.

This will be a good discussion in the offseason.

Thanks. That feels like the biggest need on defense. Also, the type of player that has eluded Miami's rebuild so far.

Tell you what - Troy Andersen looks great dropping into coverage. Basically playing a deep dropping Tampa-2 style MLB. Buzzes the flats to take away RB’s coming out of the backfield, and times his blitzes well.

Looks like they’ll be playing NDSU in the FCS championship game next.

I like IU,dont really follow them, but being from here, like to see them do well. Would remind me of McMillan / Baker from Ohio State.... but hopefully better

I think a number of people would say no to Nate Landman of Colorado due to his injury history, but some team is going to take him on day 3 of the draft and walk away with a pretty good linebacker.

I like your number 5, Wyoming's Chad Muma @ 6’3”, 242#.

Not much of a pass rusher, so I'm sure Miami has zero interest. Hey, wait!..
