2025 draft

You guys are going to hate me on this BUT PLEASE ⚠️HEED MY ADVICE⚠️:

WE NEED A QB VERY EARLY.

You all are going to HATE LIFE if we draft 7 SUPERSTARS, 5 ROOKIE OF THE YEARS on OLINE alone only to have Tua go down again.

⚠️HEED MY ADVICE⚠️

Y’all are stubborn as all get out.

It has nothing to do with Tua’s skills. TUA is obviously more than good enough to lead a solid team to a division championship & beyond.

But if he goes down again, it may be his last.

PLEASE ⚠️HEED MY ADVICE⚠️:

WE NEED A QB VERY EARLY.
Totally agree. QB is necessary.

I’m rooting for the Jags, Patriots, Jets, Titans, Bengals, Saints, Browns, Niners and Panthers tomorrow.

The worst thing that can happen to the Jets is if they win 2-3 of their final games.

I’d love to see New England win a couple as well and get themselves far out of the top 5.

Now that the season is basically over, how are we going to fix this roster? We have to start in the trenches.

I went on to the Pro Football Network draft simulator site and came up with this mock draft.

R1. OT Kelvin Banks - Texas - Last night Armstead looked washed. Its time to move on. Banks can play OT and OG. So ideally Patrick Paul is not a bust and he can actually play then Banks can play LG.

R2. DT Deone Walker - Kentucky - Campbell will probably retire so all we really will have is Seiler so even with Walker there is more work to do.

R3. S Sebastian Castro - Iowa - Holland is not worth the money which we don't have anyway. Poyer will be gone so we will need 2 new Safeties.

R3. LB Danny Stutsman - Oklahoma - We need a more instinctual and physical LB who can tackle.

R4. S Keon Sabb - Alabama - We need 2 new safeties.

R5. OG Luke Kandra - Cincinnati - Replacement for Liam at RG.

R5. RB Damien Martinez - Miami - We need a more physical RB.

R7. DE Mike Green - Marshall - We can always use more pass rushers.

R7. WR Jeremiah Hunter - Washington - We need better WR depth.

R7. DT Alfred Collins - Texas - More of a 3-4 DE which is what we need since Walker is a true NT.

This draft doesn't solve everything but it can be a good start to rebuilding this roster.
I’m a Hawkeye fan and I wouldn’t draft Castro higher than the 5th round.

Both of these players are top 5 picks - so Miami has mediocre themselves out of those potential picks… I’d trade Waddle and Tyreek - they both deserve a chance to win championships - but I don’t see it… the Dolphins are dead in the water (pardon the pun) for 6 to 7 more years - we built a thing that does NOT work in the NFL… being 9-8 or 8-9 is absolute worse case scenario for your future…
Their contracts are too big. I think the mini rebuild must be Grier-less. McD gets a year. Frank Smith moves on, and a more agressive OC comes in. Build the defense first. Aggressive monster LB, DT. Assume Phillips is back. Trade Chubb for a 2026 pick. Draft a safety, sign a FA safety. This will be a 2 year thing. 2025 draft a guard 5th round… small school, agressive Richie type with a chip on the shoulder. 2026, assuming Patrick Paul is solid at LT, draft a LG and RT. Jackson gets beat too easily by fast DEs.
2 Years. If McD refuses to dress like a grown man, fire his ass

This is one of the biggest questions for the offseason, can we count on Chubb or Phillips to return to form? Lots of talent at the top of the draft at edge. Wouldn't be shocked if they went Penn St. again, Carter is a monster you can move around.

Non qb Abdul carter is my primary target. A bit of a positionless player feel to him though. Chance I got to take though. Somewhat of a tweener.

I’d bet grier would pounce on mason graham as a 3 tech if given the chance.

He's a specimen for sure, Weaver prefers speed over size it appears so he fits the mold. There's a handful of smaller edge guys with a lot upside at the top.

That's the spot for Graham to shine and wreak havoc in the backfield.

Short yardage specialist, for when the offense moves inside the 10 yardline. I'm looking for a back in the 230 or 240 range, however Kansas Devin Neal is a little smaller (5'10 215) that churns out yards. Neal is likely a day 3 option.

Jalen milroe more upside than any other qb in the draft and dynamic

Also can take nfl contact run sub 4.5

Jalen Milroe is a mess, a hot mess
I think he's broken right now.
Far from broke! Miami could be the best spot for him to land. He could backup Tua for a couple of seasons and work on his weaknesses while providing Miami some interesting sub packages at the same time.

If we stick with the zone scheme Jonah Coleman is the Rb to look for maybe with one of the comp pics at the end of the 3rd.
