21 players account for $21 million in dead money for the Miami Dolphins

We could have. But I am still happy we traded him. Yes oline sucks but Tunsil wanted to be the highest paid LT. To me he is in that 5-10 range and takes to many penalties.

Now the Fowler trade was moronic. Solid vet on the OL. We traded him for a 7th and ate almost all his contract.

Sometimes you overpay for players because it costs a lot to not have them.

Lord knows how many draft picks we'll have spent before we get a top 10 LT.

Byron Jones is not worth his contract. We were ok signing him. Truth is, Dolphins love overpaying other teams free agents. They balk at paying their own guys sometimes.

I get what you are saying. Basically we probably don't have Waddle going forward if we didn't pull off the Tunsil trade. And if you tell me to choose right now going forward Waddle (rookie contact) vs Tunsil (current deal) I will take Waddle.

Pretty much. Only have 1.6 million in dead cap at this moment for next season(Grant and Strowbridge). Could change if we cut people or trade in the off-season.
Damn, we traded Grant and we still paying him?? Lol. I guess that's why we got a 6th for him I guess. Thanks for the info.

We've nursed stellar seasons out of Gregg Camarillo, Davone Bess, Brian Hartline, and other lesser talents at the receiver position. Lt's are less fun to play with in Madden and make far less splash plays on TV, but give me a top 10 LT all day.

Fowler?

And all time Tunsil has missed. Every time I see Houston play, Laremy is not in the line up (of course we didn't know that at the time we traded him).
