#27 and #28 Lost this Game

Watched the Game Twice and the second time around i see why we lost the game Mostly Benny Sapp, The Ball was thrown his way almost every play of the game And wen either Sean Smith or Vontae Davis went out with cramps they targeted #28 Carroll.. Bush Played a Good game But he Didnt run the ball enough in the Second Half..Overall this was Not a horriible game played by Dolphins.. They Exposed our weakest link Benny Sapp!!

They did suck but if we could have generated some sort of pass rush then they wouldn't have been picked on so much.

yeah just watched replay and carroll is lookin like jason allen out there in the early days. clearly not aware that receiver is about to catch the ball.

benny the sapp ofatackler blew chunks minus one play where he read the cut screen. but the tackling was absolutely piss poor.
 
You really didnt have to watch more than once to know this. The defense as a whole sucked. The secondary was just plain terrible but you have to blame the front 7 also for their lack of pressure on Brady. Nolan made absolutely no adjustments at half either. You gotta move players around and try different things to find out what works. The defense failed too do so.

Honestly Tom brady will make most teams look like ****, well see this week if "oh no we suck again" or if it was just brady. Im willing to think the latter. Houston fans are hyped up thinking our D is ****ty, I think they respond against a team that thinks their tough **** for dismanteling peyton-less colts

we brought the house when everyone should know by now brady just burns you. he gets rid of the ball quickly most times and he stays in his tight pocket that his OL refuses to give in within those ten feet. you cant go inside on these guys. you have to go around them and brady is just getting rid of it too quickly.

you blitz a cb from time to time and you will only win one or two of those. You have to play coverage with 7 guys! Yeah, they will score, but you have to play the odds that you break up passes, put tight coverage on so WR drops balls, and brady see's only certain routes work so his repetoire is shorter.

its just going to be a shootout from now on. thats how it is. i will watch the san diego/NE game cus i want to see how a good defense handles it knowing a hurry up is coming.
 
Its absolutely amazing how they literally attacked Sapp and Carroll like 75% of the time at least.

U saw two or three plays vontae's way. Maybe 2 at smith. A couple of those worked but guys will catch passes on them in games.

I thought Benny saved his horrible night by jumping the screen, forcing the pick. But then he continued to get smoked. Carroll was a joke, he wasn't even lined up, many times he wouldnt even run with the WR when they motioned. Then everyone is yelling at him to move.

A pass rush would have covered how bad they were and might have left us in this position later in the year. Atleast we know Sapp is trash and we shouldn't have let Allen go. This all being said we atleast make it a hell of a game if we generate any form of a rush. But its clear that Sapp and Carroll are questionable players.
 
Like SRM said, I was stunned by the lack of pressure on the QB. Yes Sapp and Carroll were awful but this front 7 have to wake up big time and start to find solutions or this will look like the 2007 defense before long (a defense that we expected solid but plainly sucked from the beginning).
 
After watching the replay over again, I think the DL lost the game for Miami. The secondary, well was second. The DL was manhandled all game long. They couldn't stop the run nor put pressure on Tom Brady. It is pathetic. It reminds me of the pre-season game against Atlanta when the coach said he wasn't going to game plan for Atlanta. I seriously doubt if he game plan for this game.
 
they both blew but carroll was worse, at least sapp read that screen pass that led to the pick, they should have cut carroll, did jimmy wilson get cut?

We shouldn't even have to bring the house to generate even marginal pressure, which we didn't even do that. We should be able to get good pressure with our edge rushers. But we only have one of those and he was for the most part neutralized/held. JT has no rush anymore and Koa Misi.. I'm not even going to comment on him because he doesn't even do anything.
 
Like I said in another thread, Tom Caughlin and Rex Ryan will tell you, and hell it's not a secret, you beat Brady with pressure.

With that said, it's disturbing that Sapp was abused and Carroll looked lost and couldn't even fill in for a few plays at his natural position...

Sparano already said that nothing he saw from the Pats surprised him, so they obviously prepared for what they saw, they just didn't execute...and get pressure...
