brown against benson it will be the game which shows if we made the right pick.

either that or they both preform well, i dont think one will do better then the other by that much.......considering both situations i think ronnie will do a little bit better this season then cedric(not to be a homer) but niether of them will be busts, thier both good picks

Cedric Benson is from the University of Texas.

I think Benson will put up the best numbers this year of the three rookies.

However, Brown has the more long term potential, he has the chance to get even better.

This game will definitely not be the defining factor. Both will play well, both will make some rookie mistakes, both will be off the field by the second quarter. No one game defines which running back is better, especially not a preseason game.

You know Benson is gonna pund the ball this year. he's the most pro-ready back that was drafted this year. He's handled the load.

Brown has 2 other backs to split time with, benson only has Jones, who should be the 3rd down back.

Losman7 kinda summed up why I think Benson will be better this year.

Ronnie is bigger and faster than CedBen, good pro-coaching will turn Ronnie into an awesome RB.

Benson will obviously get better, but Ronnie's upside and versatility is what he had over Cadillac and Cedric come draft day, IMO. Of the three runners I would have selected Ronnie because of his potential.

I also think by seasons end Benson will finish with more rushing yards...simply because Chicago's offense will be much more conservative than Linehan's. It's basically Wannyball ver. 2.0

yeah, i did want benson originally but when we drafted ronnie i was pretty happy because i knew he oculd be a succes in the nfl and he would help us win in the future:)
