-Those are the numbers for Chris Chambers over the past three games. That is amazing. I think if he keeps up any type of pace like this over the next two weeks that he has to be ocnsidered for Offensive player of the month. Not bad for a "decent" receiver.

Other blurbs...

-Miami is currently 2-0 in December this year and will finish the month against the 3-10 Jets and 4-9 Titans. Both games are at home and could lead to the first "perfect" December for Miami in a long time. Perhaps the inevitable collapses were do to certain coaches and their "techniques" than it was with the players?

-FYI, Gus Frerotte's QB rating against San Diego? A measly (note sarcasm) 128.8. That is the first time all SEASON that he has had it over the 100 mark and only the third that he has had it over the 90 mark. This is also the third time in four weeks that he hasn't thrown an interception either. Granted one of those games was against Cleveland where he barely played but still. Give credit where credit is due!

-Zach Thomas, who missed two and a half games before coming back for this one, still has racked up 130 tackles on the season. Only Jonathan Vilma (143) has more tackles than Zach on the season. Add to the fact that Vilma has played in every game to Zach's 10.5 and you see that Zach still has it. This guy is truly special.

-If Miami can win at least two of its last three games, they will avoid their first back to back losing season since 1968 and 1969.

That is all for now. I thought you guys might enjoy.

I think when Frerotte has time to throw he can be dangerous to a defense

and yeah chambers #'s are great I wish he had a shot at the pro bowl.....

Gus played decently but he's not the answer to our QB woes. Imagine what a real QB can do with Chambers. Zach's a Dolphin, always a Dolphin. Which is why he should never be traded.

A lot of good things happened in the 5 years after 1968-69. ;)

This just goes to show you how good a team we can be when our quarterback has a good day (even if the running backs don't). If only we got that high level of play consistently, we would be an 8-9 win team right now

great post, but CC has had 5 TDs over the past 3 games... you added up all 3 games stats for each of those categories except TDs. he had 3 in the two games previous to today.

How do you figure? He didn't score against Oakland, he got one against Buffalo and two against San Diego. Did I miss something?
