This is another quickie mock I just did. Sorta what if. Edge leaves in this mock and finds himself in jacksonville and arizona finds themself a little shaun. Pennington is cut by the Jets for cap and well 2 trades for what if.

feel free to give me your thoughts on this quickie mock.

A few trades in the mock:

New York Jets trade pick #4 and John Abraham to the Oakland Raiders for Pick number 6, 2nd round pick and 2007 3rd round pick. Reasons for this there is no way the jets can resign him, they are too screwed via the cap. This gives them something for nothing.

Indianapolis trades 2006 1st (30th), 2nd and 2007 4th to Miami dolphins for pick 16th to pick DeAngelo Williams, it is impossible for a player of his caliber to fall down to Indy. They need a running back to make their system work properly. They are so close that they need to win now. DeAngelo can replace Edge right away and not be a huge drop off.

I would love this draft. 5 players that could help out immediately. Would be awesome.

Wow!!! IF that happened, I would be in heaven, but there is no way we are going to be able to get all those players in the positions you have them....

1 Antonio Cromartie CB FSU........He is starting to move up the board, can't see us getting him this late in the 1st.

2A Bobby Carpenter OLB Ohio State....There are some that believe he will be taken in the 1st, or very early 2nd.

2B Brody Croyle QB Alabama.......Too many teams in need of a QB, and Croyle is the 4th most popular QB, this late will almost be impossible to get him.

3 Andrew Whitworth OT LSU..........The 3rd sounds about right for him, but a guy as big and strong as he is, it is again going to be tough to find him still there when we pick in the 3rd ( Hope I am wrong...This would be a great R-tackle for us)

4 Dwayne Slay S TT.......This could happen, and it would be a very smart pick for us, this guy can hit.

I am crosssing my fingers that I am wrong, because this would be a great draft for us.

mod edit - leave out the personal attacks

u little (removed) this was a mock in one of the forums in nfldraftcountdown don't take credit for this

Not bad at all. Cromartie, Croyle, Carpenter and Whitworth would be a nice draft. Not sure if Carpenter falls that far, but he could due to his injury.

If that were to happen I would take Nick Mangold. You cant lose with that pick at that spot.
