with there being supposibley 3 main guys in the running to be our next head coach (cameron, mora, gailey) what do u finfans think each one would take in the first round with the ninth pick or would they trade it?

Uhh, Im warming up to Leon Hall. Thats who i think they all SHOULD take.

But Cameron and Gailey would look for Jarrett, or Ginn.

Honestly if it were gaily i think he trade the farm for Calvin Johnson but if its CC hes not an idiot he goes with our weakest position in the first round our o line!

again, it all depends on who we sign via FA before the draft. hopefully, we sign steinbach and either stalworth or clements...

if we are to aquire steinbach and stalworth...then we go Reggie Nelson at #9

but if we are able to sign steinbach and clements...then we go tedd ginn jr at #9

but if we sign steinbach, clements, and say kevin curtis....then we go alan branch or amobi okoye at #9

I will bet u any kind of money that we dont take him with the number 9 pick.....2 safety 1st round picks in a row doubtful
and i dont think an underclassmen goes to the phins in the first round we are too smart for that hes not a lock why take a chace on him?????

Ryan smith was the real facotr in that Gatore defensive back field not Nelson in my opinion of course!!!

That rules out Jarrett and Ginn too.

no no i was talking about project picks such as matt JOnes a few years back with the Jags u dont take project picks in the first round and thats wut nelson is.....

who said i want iether of them???

I would like to trade down and get one yes but i dont think we out right pick one at # 9.

maybe we adress our weakest point o-line than in the 2nd take steve smith????

I just dont like taking chances why do it????

Crowder was even a chance in the third round but he panned out, now if we would have taken him in the first i would have blown my top!!!!!!

Okaye sounds like the best pick to me by the time the Draft comes this kid will just be 20 years old!He could be here for a longggggggg time

 WTF are you talking about?

How the hell is Nelson a project? He's the top rated safety in the draft by the majority of the gurus. No lower than 2nd anywhere. Most of Smith's INT's were a result of Nelson's presence, hits, or tips. The underclassmen comment is ridiculous as well. The whole draft is taking chances on players, being underclassmen doesn't make any difference.

No matter who the coach is it appears the question should be who would Mueller take.

Exactly.....and if you look at Muellers track record he builds around a QB. (Jake Delhomme, Brooks, Bulger, all on one team) I think he likes Lemon, and would draft a QB if he felt it was necessary.

if being an underclassman m,atters then what do you think bout Calvin johnson he is probably the best player in the draft and hes a underclasmmen
