Unless they re-do his deal now, that clock won't stop ticking. Even though it is very likely he is staying you can never really be 100% sure with Parcells.

I wish Ross would just sit down with Parcells and end that 30 day window, whether he just post-pones it to after the 09' season or gives him a pay raise. We don't need that 30 day window hanging over this franchise.

I don't think he is planning on leaving. I think as of today, he fully intends to stay with the Dolphins.

With that said, last December he was fully committed to signing with the Falcons. One day later, he signed with the Dolphins.

All I am saying is that Parcells wants to come back, but 30 days is a long time and anything can happen. What if Ross turns out not to be the type of owner Parcells expected him to be?
