30 year old tannehill under payton/hue better than goff/lynch in their 3rd years?

Thats the question u have to ask. Would a 30 year old tannehill under payton, hue, mcdaniels, mike shula be better than goff or lynch in their 3rd years? Omar kelly is saying he is done with tannehill & to pull the plug now. He suggested trading him to the eagles and drafting goff or lynch. If u could get a 1st or 2nd for tannehill from browns texans rams eagles would u? Who is replacing tannehill if we move on? Cousins? Kap? Rg3? The only options would goff or lynch in the draft. Id rather get one of the coaches i mentioned and draft wentz. What do u guys think?

Nobody can answer your original question of who would perform better:Tannehill at 30 or Goff or Lynch in their third year. I'd like to see Tannehill under a bright Head Coach and good OL. Make or break year for Tannehill, my biggest fear is that we move on from him, he goes to a new team and becomes the player alot of us believe he has the potential to be.

I can't say that Tannehill will be better than any potential replacement from the draft or even FA. What I can say is Tannehill is never going to be better than half the league at QB so there really is no point in prolonging the agony except we signed him to a stupid extension.

Up until this season you had an ascending talent despite a terrible OL and an incompetent head coach. You're not the least bit curious to see how the guy responds to working with a good Head Coach and an upgraded OL? I don't get the hate for Tannehill? I under the disappointment of missing the playoffs again but all he's done since coming to the league was grow despite being dealt a **** hand. Taking the beatings he has alone earned him the benefit of the doubt of working with an upgraded coaching staff and OL. I say upgraded coaching staff because I don't think it's possible that we make a worse hire than Philbin and company.

Im not sure his contract status would allow it but I'd ship tanned ill for a first or high second in a heartbeat. Especially in s year we are drafting high enogh to potentially grab another top rookie qb. Face it guys, tannehill is a spaz. Or as a wiser man would say: He's just a turd out there.

Yeah, that's a good comparison......NOT. Tannehill has flaws and things he needs to work on, sure. No doubt about it. But he also has alot of positive things about his game as well. When he gets with the proper coaching to help him harness his talents, he'll consistently be in the upper half of QBs in this league. You're entitled to your opinion though, and me mine. If you're right in your assesment of Tannehill you'll only have to deal with him for one more season and if I'm right in mine - he'll be a Dolphin for life.

I'm just curious, were you impressed by Tannehill's play last year? Did you feel good about the QB position going forward? I know I did. And I know it's been a down year, but it is possible to bounce back from a down year (Newton, Dalton) Only time will tell though
