3000 tickets unsold for MNF opener

Hasnt this been an on-going problem?

I agree it is a bad bad situation......, but I know they are having an impossible time selling Cowgirl tickets here in Dallas as well.

How can we have a blackout on MNF? Its a nationally syndicated game on ESPN.

I will laugh my *** off if the home opener on MNF is blacked out.. Hows that for a message Ross!?!?

Whats the point of this thread? lets say u get 100 ppl on finheaven to buy some tickets, is that really going to help? u still have 2900 tickets to sell. lol =/

You act like 3000 is a lot, especially with 11 days to go. The game is on ESPN anyway. According to this board though we usually have 20-25 empty seats...

It was a generic statement to the entire fan base.

Though FinHeaven does have over 65,000 members..................

LOL, people in Miami will be watching a billiards game from 1988 on ESPN! lol

Not surprised. You can't put a "losing" product on the field for 10 years now and have an owner who acts like a fool making the franchise look like a joke.....combine that with a horrible economy and this is what you get. The fans have quit on this team.

People who post on this board and others like it are the die-hards of the die-hards. But the average joe who just "Likes the Fins" and just watches Sunday to Sunday and doesn't go online to read on them all week/every day and spend 20+ hours a week consumed with the Fins,....those fans are gone. They have given up. They are spending their money elsewhere. AND YOU CAN'T BLAME THEM!

I think most fans -- or at least, a lot of fans -- expect the Patriots to blow us out, and nobody likes attending a game where your team gets destroyed even if you happen to have a few barrels of money in your basement you were just going to burn anyway.

If we knock off the Patriots, they won't have trouble selling out the Houston game or really any game for at least the first half of the season. But if they roll over us like 38-7, then nobody is going to come. And I don't blame them at all.
