All I have to say is weve been passing too much all season it opens up more probability to turning the ball over. You run the ****ing ball on third and two. You run it again on fourth if you dont get it cause your in obvious four down situation. It just bothers me that we have mediocre receivers and a good ground game for god sakes ronnie averaged over five yards a carry, but yet we still have to throw the ball. I just blame Linehan for doing that. We know what were working with Gus. Come on this hurts.

if we would have scored a td and tied it up on 3rd down you wouldnt be whining about it. bottom line is atlanta dominated us and we should be happy that we were even in a situation to tie.

So that's it? We can't say anything? It was horrible playcalling regardless of the outcome.

Its one thing to be happy about being in the situation to tie the game, its a nother thing to watch that oppertunity fall into someone elses hands. That was absolutley poor play calling on SLs part. Plain and simple.

man, playaction is not a bad call when its 4 down territory. when your qb throws a rediculous pass thats horrible

Ronnie and Ricky were averaging over 5 yds. per carry. Our O-Line, believe or not, were pushing the Falcons D-Line that final drive. Every radio announcer in South Florida is of the opinion you run Ronnie or Ricky in that situation. Linehan, along with the multiple reverses for negative yardage, blew it.

Having said that, I want Linehan to continue as Offensive Coordinator.

When your QB sucks it is a bad call. We have two of the best RB's in the league. It's common sense to run the ball. You're suppose to play to your strengths. Linehan isn't doing that.

They surely didn't dominate the trenches now did they? There goes your whole argument!

:rolleyes2

I personally would have run the ball and think it was a bad play call, but if we call a pass, we can't have Gus turn the ball over and HE DID.

if u hadn't noticed, there waas a LOT OF HORRIBLE play calling by him. how many times did we have the ball in our 30 due to a Fumble ibelieve? twice? did u see any balls down the field more then 8 yards? i didn't. what idd i see instead, stupid reverses or short plays that resulted for about a 2 yard catch due to a horrible play or a slow developing play as they stated. This shows our own coachign staff has no faith in our qb as well. Btw, have u noticed that linehan is extreme with everything? he is horrible. When he wnats to throw the ball he throws it on 2-1 3-1 for about 30+ yards 5 times a game then today they didnt throw one at all more then 8 yards except for what 3? 4? he donet know how to balance ANYTHING OUT. I highly agree on this wiht you female fin fan.

Before I make a decision on Linehan I look at his VERY successful years with the Vikings and compare them to his eight games with the Fins. It's too early to ask for his head because this team is still developing and lacks the QB, WRs and O-Line that it takes to launch a potent offensive attack like the Colts.

at least we agree on the qb situation. but that play has been called 1000s of times in that situation with teams with awesome running games, bottom line gus should have made the right decision and he didnt. im just as disappointed as you bro. the falcons could have stuffed the run too then what, we would have went play action and 4th and gus wouldve done the same fin thing its just our fate. im happy we played a strong game against the best team in the nfc. pats are goin down.
