The play developed too slowly. They should have lined up in the I formation and handed the ball to Clay on a quick hitter, or a quick pitch to Miller outside.

The Bengals had the ball so much in the 3rd because the defense could not get them off the field on the drives between the Grimes pick 6.

The Bengals were one of the top offenses in the league. The way things happened with the long drive the interception, and the Bengals getting the ball back the defense was completely exhausted. Cam Wake said he hope they never have a third quarter like that again.
