I think Welker made a strong push at the 3rd receiver position tonight, he made some nice catches and held onto the ball after taking some tough hits, I would really like to see Hagan step up and take this job but he just hasent shown me enough to give it to him yet, alight he did have a nice side catch tonight

WELKER IS THE MAN!!! :D He made some real tough grabs tonight. That is what you need from a slot receiver. Welker is perfect for the job. He is definitely the #3 guy right now.

Hagan is a rookie. He will need to grow. But he will make the team. So Chambers, Booker, Welker, Hagan and... the 5th WR is still up in the air. Gibson caught a couple against the Bucs. Russell had a couple against the Jags. Murphy has had a couple here and there. But Vick has a lot of potential and is a backup kick return guy.

I have no idea who will get the #5 WR spot right now.

Welker is clutch! Always count on him on 3rd down.

Welker will have the #3 job this year unless Hagan really starts producing. By next year I think the job will be Hagans.

Who cares about next year? This is 2006. A whole season lies ahead.

HORRIBLE

You just have this unexplainable hatred for Wes Welker.

Why? Is he too short? Too slow? Too white?

He was clutch the whole game, and has been clutch his whole Dolphins career. What else does he have to do to impress you? Seriously.

Did he run over your dog or something?

I bet next you're going to tell me that breathing is the hardest thing to do.

Welker got this on lock. Hagan had 1 good catch lined up as the 1st receiver with Joey Harrington as the QB, but he really isn't showing much.

how come everytime u talk about welker u bring up that hes white?....yes hes too short and too slow for me.....let him be a return guy. im fine with that.

As I've stressed over and over again - I like Welker as a decent #3/4 WR, but not as a kick returner. Right now, I'd go with:

1. Chris Chambers
2. Marty Booker
3. Wes Welker
4. Derek Hagan
5. Marcus Vick

Give Vick a shot at kick returns, please.........

Vick got the moves and all to win that returning job..saban has to get this kid more snaps at kick return...no doubt
