Unfortunately we felt like we had already covered quite a bit of ground on Josh Rosen in other episodes and we almost nixed this conversation altogether because of the environment of intolerance out there on both sides about the trade and the fact we had covered it I believe in two other episodes. So we intended to limit our total amount of time we could speak. You can’t cover everything for an unlimited amount of time, choices had to be made.
If we had more time I could have covered what I see on film with Josh, what I didn’t like, what I believe he should be good at, what he won’t be good at, and what I think his future will hold. Of course when I’ve done that before in other venues it’s mostly been met with intolerance because my outlook isn’t acceptably optimistic for the crowd.
Right. There's a number of us who are not 100% sold on Rosen. But wait! There's more
you could present the most "neutral" opinion/evaluation based on the pros and cons &
just let the reader/viewer/pod caster ultimately fill in the blanks in terms of formulating
their "very own conclusion!"
For example -- I saw a video on Rosen where a dude who apparently was familiar with him
back in college was really concerned about the hitch he had developed in AZ. I went back and
watched more AZ stuff and sure enough that hitch (deadly problem @NFL level IMO) was there.
As an inquiring mind I would certainly dig more in-depth crit as well as promo on Rosen by folks
who readily pay attention to such "nuance" and in certain terms even the more obvious --
as long as there's some info that penetrates beyond the veneer -- and it's being presented
sans agenda. For me -- that's a winner with any/all players as a formula for info.
So... Perhaps and maybe -- don't worry about those who (for whatever reason) won't agree
with your "cons" but just produce the best, most unbiased (honest) product you can while
keeping in mind (perspective) you're talking to a "Dolphins audience." I'm down with
all of that and available as a ad hoc producer (ad hoc comp negotiable)!
Beyond that. I'm a certified Luddite because I don't do twitter.
