Pats have hit their peak. Down from here. We have cleared a hurdle and it is up from here. I am still not a firm believer in sparano, but I think this team is ready to earn their pay and start something special. Marshall has a huge year. Bess produces again. Hartline does his part. We will not miss Ronnie or Ricky. The defense will dominate the afc east and anyone else. Superbowl! :hclap:
 
I'd kill for that. Dang i'd kill just to see the pats go down this week. I can't stand being the middle to the bottom anymore we have to improve we just have too. Our D looks good and i think if someway out line can block we can win this week and more after that. No more dumb mistakes.
 
Would be nice, but I want to see a win Monday night first. Let's not get TOO ahead of ourselves. Even if the Dolphins beat the Pats, we still gotta worry about the Texans...who we've NEVER beaten. The Browns and the Chargers won't be gimme games on the road. Like the positive thinking, though.

If you look at where this team lost in the previous season, it was generally due to not scoring enough points. Does this new offense score more? Or does it turn the ball over even more, which is always a possibility with a "high-octane" offense. That's largely what the season will come down to. The defense will be as good, if not better. Hard to see a way in which the D could possibly regress, unless you believe we will have zero pass rush due to the double/triple attention Wake will get and nobody else being able to get to the QB.
 
I agree with your optimism that we can beat these teams. But the Pats are far from their downfall, hasn't that been said every season?

I think we are fully capable of beating them if we play hard and play mistake free, but that won't deter them from getting to the playoffs.
 
i think we can start off 4-0. the team is good enough. this is a playoff team imo
 
One game at a time...lets not get WAY ahead of ourselves...but I like the enthusiasm.

It better be a good start or it's going to get ugly. It really needs to be good. If we were to be even 1-4 by the time we play our fifth game, and had lost on Monday Night to both our main division rivals, just imagine how sour this place would be. I'm totally hoping for a strong exciting start. Imagine beating both division rivals and being even 3-2 after the fifth game. Anyway, hopefully the team is just focused on the Patriots. May Henne pan out, may the Oline not have a weak spot, may Reggie be a hero, may Marshall be a monster, Go Dolphins.

Thats very optimistic.....but looking at the first 5 games....I'd be thrilled if they go 3-2.......I am expecting 2-3 at best.....and my gut tells me 1-4.

Patriots, Texans, Browns, Chargers, Jets......3 road games.

Patriots are the Patriots, we haven't done well against them recently, we've never beaten the Texans...this is a very tough opening schedule.
