guys could we improve 4 games a year over a three year period? last year we were 4-12 under wanny. this year we could be 8-8 or maybe 9-7...and next year we could possibly be 12-4!!!! i hope we improve by four games or more next year!!

thoughts?

12-4 maybe be a bit to much untill we have a solid QB would be very nice though.

Each season is different....players come and players go, players get injured....other teams improve and some get worse....this season has nothing to do with what will happen in the future.

Sure it does. One year of experience of learning the playbook has a bearing on the future, much less the experience needed from players to learn what is expected from them out of saban. That's just one of many nuisances that factor into the future. While I can agree that this years record has nothing to do with next years record, but to say this year has nothing to do with next year ignores all the factors that are felt from year to year…

First off, awsome Avatar! :beerbang:

Secondly, With coaching alone we will be 9-7 or 10-6 next year, with added talent and the current players gain another year of familiarity with the system will make us an 11 to 12 win team. Our coaching staff is outstanding this year. Now they will have an entire off-season to focus on how to improve this team.

We will be tough next year. But don't expect dominance for a couple more years.

The playbook? The playbook if Linehan goes is useless....if we get another QB...is useless. If players get hurt like two years ago....is useless.

The players already knew what was expected of them....just like when Shula, Johnson, Wanny and Bates was leading the team....they were expected to play to win. Right now....the Dolphins are right back where they started from two years ago....playing even football and unless they get more talent on both sides of the line....next year won't be any different....until they get that talent...forget about beating the Pats, Colts, Seattle, Steelers...etc.
