4 sit out of Wednesday Practice

I think Hartline is safe, but probably Ginn and Bess are goners next season anyway.

Practicing in a steady rain Wednesday, Brian Hartline, Ted Ginn Jr. and Davone Bess each dropped a pass.

Why is this news? It would be news if these three actually began catching the ball.

I don't understand why Ginn and Bess are dropping so many passes this year. Ginn's hands were a strength last year. And Bess caught EVERYTHING.

Only thing I can think of is reaction time....the ball is getting on them much faster and isn't always as well placed as a Pennington pass.

maybe it's the velocity lol

I for one like to be kept up to date on the recievers sucking, although if they catch passes I want to know that too.

This opens the door for more playing time for Roth and Wake without management having to "bench" Porter. The injury gives them a reason to do it now without a big stir.

Yeah, claim the hamstring injury is still bothering Porter (and it might be) and you have Roth in for run downs and Wake in for passing downs for the next couple games. If that works out as well as most of us hope, Porter will be just part of the rotation for the rest of the year.

Who knows, Joey might be a lot better with more limited snaps.

there must be some veteran scrub out there who could be an upgrade

all he needs to have is hands and route running ability

we can't trust what we have except for Camarillo

Honestly, that rotation sounds amazing. Roth and Wake, that is.

i think miami will try and trade porter for what ever we can get for him he is still effective when he is healthy and we should all know that from last year
