Undisciplined than I could have imagined. The shocking thing is, even with them handing us field position with a plethora of stupid ass penalties, we only scored 1 offensive touchdown.
Shanahan needs to take a year off, and as a parting gesture to his protege McD, trade us Kittle for Duke straight up.
Well, you could ASK.

Dolphins scored two offensive touchdowns.

Take a year off? What the ****.

Incorrect... TDs vs teams with losing records don't really count.
They do, and we see what you're doing there...and its pedantic.

But if you're calling yourself a Super Bowl contender, and you can't reliably compete with winning teams, you're going to be called a pretender, rightfully. Like it or not, its how the NFL is.

If you're OK, as a fan, with the team being a perpetual loser with no signs of escaping that designation, that's all good, you do you.

Don't act like its some superior moral stance over fans who refuse to, any longer, let themselves be fooled by the bullshit.

Winning matters, and matters a hell of a lot more when its against the level of teams standing in your way in the playoffs. Its just reality.

keep in mind the standard for this fan base has been low for this whole century

If every team not winning the SB is a loser in you're mind, you're not done being miserable as a fan...

And "no signs of escaping that designation" is just how you perceive things, you're assuming things can't improve, it's at the very least a debatable take.

Lol true. But Keep Miami only scored 2 TDs because they took were undisciplined with offensive penalties and 2 dropped TDS from Hill. It's a blowout if Hill doesn't have the dropsies

On a side note, a down year for San Francisco may not be such a bad thing. It's an older team that should benefit from a higher draft slot.

Definitely interesting the similarities between the 49ers and Dolphins. Even when they were winning, San Francisco made a lot of mistakes for a successful team.

Usually, they were just good enough to overcome some mistakes. Late hits yesterday were killers for them. Take those away and it's potentially a different game.

It does make me wonder if Shanahan's practices are similar to McDaniel's? I guess John Lynch wouldn't put up with that??

Well, the Niners still do have a pretty good defense, especially with both Bosa and Hufanga back playing. And they scored 2 TD's, not 1.

SF was more hurting on the offensive side of the ball, minus Trent Williams, Christian McCaffrey, Jordan Mason and Brandon Aiyuk.

Kyle looks burnt out. I know I know injuries and all that but the superbowl loss looks like it took a lot out of them.

Interesting off season for them. Still not sold on Purdy...wonder if they make him a top 5 paid QB.

I'm not miserable at all, ever since I made the conscious decision to not expect anything more from this organization. Lot less miserable that way...they never disappoint.

Yes, that designation is my perception, and I have decades backing it up.
