49ers moving to LA!?!?!?!

Owners meetings, issue #1 is getting a team in LA. And whether that team will play in the Colusium or if a new stadium is going to be built.

The #1 team on the list to move/be put in LA is the 49ers.

SF can't get a new stadium deal, their current stadium sucks, no re-allignement is needed, and the team stays in state.

They have a great history there......Even though they stink lately I still have huge respect for the Franchise, Jerry Rice IMO greatest player of all time at any position, and the L.A 49ers doesnt sound right to me

Adam Schefter is reporting its a "surprise" team with a bad stadium deal who plays in the NFC. Then FOX SPORTS RADIO brought on a sports business guy and he said the ONLY team that fits that bill is SF.

History means nothing. i.e....Cleveland Browns!

I guess Al Davis isn't interested in returning to LA, huh? That must mean it's pretty lousy there because he's already swallowed whatever little pride he had and slunk back to Oakland once, so why not add LA again to the list of the homes of his gypsy franchise?

I would think that it might be more likely that SD would move up to LA than San Fran. My thought is that this might be a way for the SF owner to bully San Fran into a new stadium. Wasn't that stadium substantially rebuilt/remodelled after the 1989 earthquake?

SF isn't a done deal, but its at the top of the list.

SD, Buffalo, Oakl...all on the list. Minny also depending on their stadium deal.

I just don't see the 49ers moving.

Minny will most likely get a new deal to stay in Minnesota. I don't see why the Bills would move to LA...they're fine in Buffalo

IMO it will be between the Raiders and San Diego...I choose Oakland because I believe San Diego is a good place for football.

The Chargers will move to LA.

the city already said they dont want them, and will be free to look around for a new home soon.

I've always said that the Raiders are the ones moving to LA. For this reason:
They don't sell out consistently, despite being a very popular team and they used to be in L.A. and are probably the most popular team in L.A right now, 49ers are up there to.

I actually think it'll be the Jaguars. All I heard about that stadium last year at the Superbowl, it's a piece of ****. They have no history to really uproot. They have good talent and are a playoff team and their owner is losing money. L.A. will provide plenty of money and with two new UCLA players it never hurts(even in the Coliseum).
