49ers to take smith at #1

Until it really is official, I still think they will be drafting Rodgers.
 
I think that I'm going to stick with what Boomer has been saying all along...that Alex Smith will be a 9er. We'll get Edwards or trade down.
 
I thought Smith was looking for more cash than Manning got... Why the 9ers pay more for a lesser QB... I'm with Byroan on this one, I think it maybe a smoke screen to try to get trade offers and will end up taking Rodgers...


of corse it's all speculation at this point.
 
I actually wouldnt really mind rodgers...just thinking if we trade down to 7 if rodgers would still be there but doubt tampa will pass on him at #5...Rodgers is a very good qb its just the tedford thing that scares me bout him
 
I'm not exactly gonna cry when we get Minny's #7 and #18 and take Cadillac Williams and Mark Clayton.

We'd get an A+ with that first round.

I like Alex Smith, but I didn't want him at #2 anyway.
 
If fox sports said it it must be true. LOL

I'll wait for draft day and not listen to the "experts" because they seem to know about as much as us.
 
If we got two first rounders, I doubt we would spend it on two offensive players. I suppose we could, but something tells me Saban would try to help out his defense as well. Marcus Spears at 18 wouldn't be a bad selection at all.

I would like to see a wide receiver and defensive tackle. If Ricky is coming back, running back should be addressed later on in the draft.
 
i really hope they take smith and we get vikings both 1st rounds picks, we really need it bad.
