Thats the Patriots record under the almight Bill Belichick in his first year. So stop acting like its the end of the world because we've lost 2 games in a row!

That by itself is a flat-out staggering stat, that all should heed to...

A guy with less then 100 posts is one of the voices of reason around here.

We have people with over 1,000 posts calling for Saban's head, comparing him to Wanny, calling out Linehan, wanting Jimmy back etc...

Welcome to the sanity club, I hope you post more.

Well then I guess we better hope Tom Brady 2 joins are team by next season.

Copmparing our teams future to anothers is pointless. It ultimately means nothing. Were rebuilding and well get better, these things take time, which is what your main point is, and I do agree.

its amazing how many come in here and expect this team to be 11-5, 10-6....or SanDiegoDolphan took the cake at 12-4!

They're not very good. Right now, they are an average team at best.

There are TONS of positions they need to fill this next offseason. Hopefully with a full complement of picks some progress can be made.

Our LBs are slow, the CBs cant cover, and the D-line can't get pressure.

also, why not sign a QB to the PS? Not to take over and be the starter, but just so we have some continuity this offseason, so maybe he can be a backup next year. Somebody like Jeff Smoker for example....sign him, let him slowly learn the playbook, work with the team in the offseason, and let him compete for a backup role next season. There is not one QB on this team that is our future by any means, so why not take a chance?

The Dolphins under Wanny was a different team too, same point.

Im not comparing the 2 teams, Im only saying that you people need to give Saban a chance before they call for his head.

We're doing fine and we'll have cap room by next year. We're figuring out who's worth a damn and who's not. Once we finally get a QB to build round things will start to get much much simpler. David Carr and Phillip Rivers are perfect candidates.

Have you seen Carr behind a crappy OL?

I know it's too early to scrap the season, but come on Gus is our QB. I'll take a 5-11 this year. 7-9 and 8-8 do nothing for this franchise. We need to be picking in the top 5 of every round next season.

Our pass protection usually isn't too bad. Our run blocking sucks. Besides if you get Carr that means you can probably nab Eric Winston too with your first rounder.

"You" people does not include me, okay. I'm totally baffled by some people in this forum overreacting about Saban's ability after one game.

I just dont think comparing teams fates should give anyone relief. It's false hope in my book.
