5 Somewhat "Bold" Draft Predictions

Just for fun.

1. Herbert is drafted before Tua.
2. Love is a top 10 pick.
3. Miami takes a running back in the first or second round.
4. The Dolphins make at least one trade that nets the team additional picks for 2021
5. Miami scores the highest draft "grade" by virtually every media outlet.

1. Grier refuses to trade up in the first round, lets the draft come to him.
2. Austin Jackson is taken before some of the higher rated candidates.
3. No Center or Guard is taken in the first round.
4. Love falls into the second round.
5. Simmons does NOT go top 10.
 
SF are you actually predicting #1 or just thinking it could happen?

I think it could happen. Obviously, Tua would be in discussion with Burrow as the top pick if not for the injury. That's bound to scare teams off.

I can't see Love dropping to round two, unless his intangibles and leadership are huge question marks.
 
1. There will be 12 trades of first round picks (3 have already happen)
2. Dolphins land the trifecta (at least for me) Tua, Epenesa, Jones.
3. 6 QBs go round 1
4. 7 OTs in round 1
5. No RB in round 1

Probably the opposite of all of these.
 
BOLD PREDICTIONS!!! 1) Miami doesn't trade up, from #5. 2) Miami selects an offensive tackle at #18. 3) 6 - WR's are selected in round #1. 4) Miami trades pick #26 for additional picks in 2020 and 2021. 5) Miami selects at least 2 running backs somewhere between round 3 and 5. 6) Miami once again finds hidden gems in round #5 with at least 2 of their 4 picks in the round. 7) The 2020 draft becomes a cornerstone draft for the franchise within 3 years. I've made 7 predictions, cause I'm rollin the dice on the lucky #7!!!

Who do you think will be the first running back selected? Will Fromm go R1?
 
1- We'll either draft a QB at 5 or we'll move down
2-We won't trade up from 5
3-there will be 7 WR's taken in the first round
4-There will be 6 OT's drafted in the first round and zero guards
5-One RB will be drafted in the first round

Well... the premise was to make somewhat bold predictions...
I can see Love dropping due to his small college pedigree and Winston-like number of Ints.
I think his value is a bit oversold... as is Simmons'.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying that either is a bad player, just that both might be being over-hyped by the press currently.

I was tempted to add, 6. There will be more Tackles than WRs taken in the first this year... but ended up going another direction.

Could be the same amount of OT's and WR's taken but at the very least I see 5 of each going top 32
