50% chance next year of playing in Detroit on Thanksgiving. It will either be us or Buffalo. Hope it is Miami then I can try to get tickets and go. It will be fun to watch this team that I think will be MUCH improved.

It will be a much different team than it is now....but I wouldn't bet it'll be much improved in a year.

woohoo we'd get to wear our throwbacks again, that would be great

Just like Atlanta, Detroit and Denver did yesterday? I'm not sure the throwback tradition is going to continue on Thanksgiving, which is too bad because it's such a cool idea. Oh well.

There's also a 50% chance we'll get a Monday night game and a 50% for a Sunday night game?

Why is there a 50/50 chance that we play?

The only AFC teams the Lions play next year are from the AFC East.. Only Miami and Buffalo are home games for them.. The Lions will play an AFC team next year because the played the NFC this year.. CBS and FOX switch teams every year..

Ya, your right on that. Next year its CBS turn to televise the game in Detroit. Last year the Colts played in Detroit and it was on CBS. They switch every year. In 2002, Detroit hosted the Patriots on Thanksgiving. But next year the Lions have to play in Foxboro, so that eliminates that game. Its either the Fins or Bills next Thanksgiving, and I have a feeling it will be the Fins.

I have a feeling it will be as well..

They would tie in the two SB locations.. Detroit-Miami.. Plus, Saban, and new additions.. Face it, the Bills arent all that exciting anyway.
